The Women Veteran Program Manager is available as an advocate, adviser and navigator to connect women Veterans with the right services - including primary care, urgent care, gender specific care, and mental/behavioral health care. Erie VAMC has 1,836 enrolled female Veterans. Women’s Health services offered are Primary Care, Maternity Care, lactation support, PAP and HPV testing to screen for cervical cancer, community care consult for mammogram screening, mental health care and counseling, menopause treatment, reproductive health services including contraceptive care and infertility evaluation and lifestyle wellness series. A Gynecology Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner is available to provide specialty gynecologic care. Pelvic Ultrasound and Pelvic Floor PT are available at the Erie VA Medical Center. The Women’s Health Program includes a Program Support Assistant, Reproductive Health Navigator, Women’s Health Navigator, and a Women Veterans Program Manager. Lactation Services are available by an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. Women’s Health Primary Care Providers are available at the Erie VA and 5 CBOCS.
