Provides general information and connects individuals with appropriate department within the municipal administration.

The ESG is broken down into two sections: Rapid Re-housing and Homelessness Prevention. This program provides rental assistance for eligible individuals/families when facing eviction and provides rapid re-housing for individuals/families who are literally homeless. This program runs on an 18-month cycle with renewals.

Supports adults with intellectual disabilities in daily living, recreation, and education. Provides instruction in health and safety, socialization, daily living, recreation, medical needs and community access, and education about physical, occupational, and nutritional needs.

Offers vocational education and training to individuals with autism.

Offers family support services, therapeutic intervention, and case management.

Provides public transportation to area residents at low rates.

Program is designed for people with dependent children (or a pregnant women) who have a break in employment or other income for some reason, i.e. layoff, waiting for Unemployment to start, waiting for another job to start (an interruption in income, rather than no income to support self or family). This program eliminates the need to go on public assistance or TANF on an ongoing basis. The applicant must have a self-supporting income within the past 90 days of application and must be expecting income that would eliminate the need for ongoing TANF. This is a one-time payment program to bridge a gap in income. Payment is usually around $600-$1500 depending on household size and financial responsibilities.

Playground program including activities such as sports, arts and crafts and weekly themes will be done. Specialty days and sporting events are planned with other playground programs in Topton and Kutztown If there is inclement weather, the program will be confined to pavilion use only.

Offers a bilingual clinic that provides pediatric services in English, as well as Spanish and Portuguese.

Provides air conditioned space during extreme heat emergencies.

Provides immediate services in response to every allegation of child sexual abuse in Philadelphia. Services include: the forensic interview of the child, ongoing support services for the victim and their family, mental health therapy for children, immediate medical exams by staff from CHOP and St. Christopher's Hospital for Children on-site, and the coordinated response to the allegation by Philadelphia Police SVU, DHS Child Abuse Unit, and Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, all also on-site at PCA.

Provides congregate meals, socialization, and enrichment/recreational activities including: arts and crafts, computers, bingo, cards, pool, puzzles, games, and exercise classes.

Provides health and human service Information and referral to services, agencies, support groups, and hotlines. CONTACT Altoona helpline volunteers also find solutions for a variety of problems including but not limited to crisis situations, drug and alcohol problems, illness or disability, grief, loneliness, or depression.

Offers activities to develop fine and gross motor skills, cognitive skills, pre-writing, language reception and expression, and social behavior.

Offers a dropoff location for the public to leave plastics; green, clear, and brown glass; newspaper; aluminum; and bi-metal cans.

Offers community services, such as; vehicle lockouts, home checks for vacationing residents, bicycle registration, Safety Town Bike Program, and bad check investigations for local businesses.

Various types educational workshops for students that are in middle school to college level, to help and assist in their developement.

Offers ITIN application assistance which allows immigrants without Social Security numbers to file taxes and more easily access some mainstream financial services like bank accounts. The program assists individuals in submitting ITIN applications and a tax return together to the IRS.

Maintains lists of lawyers licensed to practice in Greene County.

Provides dinner to the community.
