Utilizes trained community volunteers to provide insight, perspective, and support to those being charged and their families as they navigate the justice system. Gives participants a deeper understanding of the justice process, what is expected from them at each stage, and suggestions to help them prepare for meetings with their attorney, court dates, and other steps of the process. Provides emergency river rescue and search for drowning victims and waterways safety training.

Offers an emergency food pantry for individuals and families in need.

Maintains a collection of fiction and nonfiction reading materials that can be checked out by community residents who have library cards.

Mainstay is a mobile program with qualified educators and counselors that provides social work services to school districts and students with specific needs who require additional support to better function within their schools, homes and communities. Mainstay provides individualized academic and therapeutic support services on a mobile basis to school age children,consisting of a phased process of interventions, addressing needs such as truancy, drop out prevention, emotional and behavioral difficulties, placement prevention, transition from placement and parent consultation and support. Services are for high school students and also any adults in the community at large interested in such things as reading help, tutoring or GED instruction.

Provides protective services to older adults who are at imminent risk of physical or emotional abuse, abandonment, exploitation, or neglect. Those calling to report elder abuse need not give their name to the agency.

Provides emergency food.

Offers personal care and hands-on assistance with daily living activities for seniors and/or individuals with disabilities. These activities may include medication reminders, bathing, hair care, dressing, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, assistance with eating or drinking, toileting and incontinence care, and ambulation.

Provides emergency assistance for any heating source, fuel, water, medication, clothing, hygiene supplies, transportation, information and referral, and other expenses as funding allows. Cannot provide assistance for funeral related costs or narcotic prescriptions.

Offers the following services to eligible elderly or disabled clients: assistance with personal care and hygiene; homemaker services such as light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation; transportation; respite services; companion services; and case management. Also offers the Senior Health Specialist Program through which registered nurses provide health screenings and counseling, disease management education, nutrition education, and medication review for senior clients.

Serves as an association of LGBT professional and business people. Offers educational, social, and community building opportunities for its members and supporters.

Offers program to inform individuals about the signs and symptoms of moderate or severe sleep apnea. Training typically includes a group presentation followed by one-on-one Q&A sessions. Training topics include: signs and symptoms of sleep apnea, what to expect during a sleep test, treatment options for sleep apnea, and an overview of Breathe PA's Patient Assistance Program, which can help with CPAP machines and supplies for qualifying individuals. Training is available to senior centers, community centers, and more.

Provides free pregnancy testing.

Offers food supplement to registered households once a week. Families receive three bags of food each visit.

Provides housing where rent is based on income. Tenants typically pay 30 percent of their adjusted gross income, which is your income minus your deductions, or a minimum rent payment of $50.

Provides children's, teen's and adult services, large print books, DVDs, photo copier, telephone/on-line reference service, Interlibrary loan, meeting facilities, computers and internet access, books on CD, newspapers, and etc.

Responsible for the establishment and enforcement of financial and medical support of spouses and/or children. Also assists in the establishment of paternity for children born outside of marriage. Office does NOT handle issues involving custody, partial custody or visitation.
