An educational program designed to heighten understanding of the negative impact of marijuana use among offenders. This program meets ARD requirements in Northampton County.

Provides a drug and alcohol treatment/criminal behavior program as an alternative to incarceration. Consists of up to 6 months of intensive residential in-patient treatment at Keenan House; up to 4 months residential programming at The Halfway Home of Lehigh Valley; 2 months (minimum) intensive outpatient treatment at Confront; and 8 months (maximum) outpatient treatment at Confront. After discharge, individuals receive 12 months of supervision.

Offers a diversion program for first-time, non-violent felony drug offenders facing one to two year prison sentences. Services include a mix of case management supports, access to education and employment, mentoring, and restorative justice. Provides program graduates the opportunity to have their criminal records expunged.

Supervises all adult offenders ordered by the Court of Common Pleas with probation and/or parole.

Partners with community agencies to utilize public resources and help formerly incarcerated individuals in need. Will work with any individual who has been incarcerated in the last 3 years. Qualifying individuals are provided with resources structured to their specific areas of need. Services include mental health support, assistance with bus passes to work, housing, food assistance, and more.

A drug free, 6 month residential chemical dependency treatment program for women, pregnant women or mothers who may be accompanied by up to two of their children. Treatment is provided in a home-like environment with mothers remaining the principal caregivers for their children. Rehabilitation includes:

• Individual/group counseling, TREM counseling
• Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous meetings
• Life skills seminars
• Parenting skills education
• Vocational guidance, housing guidance, recreation
• Development of aftercare treatment plans

In addition to providing a licensed child care program for residents, Vantage offers a prevention/intervention program for children residing at Vantage. Included components of the program are values clarification and prevention sessions, as well as family counseling. Provides 24-hour safe, confidential emergency shelter to victims/survivors.

Offers temporary shelter for women and their children seeking safety from domestic or sexual violence. Provides 24-hour hotline for individuals seeking domestic/sexual violence crisis services without regard to status, race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, physical ability or language.

Provides emergency housing for victims of domestic and sexual violence.

Provides a 24 hour hotline, short term emergency shelter and crisis intervention for victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking and other serious crimes. Offers in person contact at a secure, safe location, emergency transportation, assistance in filing protective orders and accompaniment to court, legal aid, police, medical and social services.

Helps individuals who are experiencing postpartum depression. Counseling sessions, psychiatric care, and medications are provided as needed.

Psychiatric rehabilitation services including transitional employment opportunities, educational supports, social opportunities, etc.

Provides support to 16-25 year olds struggling with a mental health diagnosis. Some of the clubhouse's opportunities include:

• Skill building and resource development (for housing, education, employment, and social)
• Provides support in returning to educational settings
• Assists in experience building and application process for employment. On-the-job support is provided, as needed, with the supported employment program
• Offers social opportunities in the clubhouse and in the community

Offers a range of services and opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Eligible individuals can elect to participate in Prevocational and Adult Training services. In-home assistance is also available.

Provides individuals with direct and indirect services in a variety of community settings for the purposes of supporting individuals in obtaining and sustaining competitive integrated employment. Opportunities are available for independent work in community settings and small group employment at one of the agency facilities. Offers pre-employment transition services that give students the chance to explore their interests.

Provides job coaching, counseling, development, and placement. Services are individualized and often take place at the employment site/home of the consumer.

Offers training and work experience in document destruction (shredding) and preparing the shredded paper for recycling.

The Work Ordered Day Program consists of six work units: Clerical, Food Service, Education, Administrative, and Transitional Employment. New members may choose to experience each unit during an orientation period in order to determine which area is of greatest interest to them. The Clerical Unit’s duties involve receptionist work, scheduling of appointments, outreach, and member intakes and orientation. Computers are available for training in word processing, database development, preparation of monthly newsletters, and research. Additional responsibilities include Database Management, Network Management, Internet Services, Web site Administration and Computer User Technical Support. Finally, this unit is also responsible for the ordering of supplies, photocopying and filing. The vanAmerigen Food Service Unit’s responsibilities include meal preparation, grocery shopping, menu planning, outreach, cashiering, bank deposits, financial procedures, and operation of food service equipment and maintenanc

Provides job development, job coaching and follow-along support to adults with disabilities so they can work in the community. This service is available to any adult who is motivated to work for wages in a competitive job. Via focuses on career planning and helps adults with disabilities as they move into the workforce. Through School-to-Work Transition Services, Via works with students, in partnership with their school districts and the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation to create a personalized employment plan and explore careers of interest.

Teaches life skills to support individuals with intellectual disabilities and Autism. Provides opportunities for learning in areas such as daily living (i.e. cooking, cleaning, hygiene), employment skills, computer skills, communication, community involvement, volunteering, and more. Also offers programs for school age children and older adults.
