Coordinates a developmental evaluation for children birth to three years of age. Evaluation includes 5 areas of development: large and fine motor, language, cognitive, self-help and social skills. Provides Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services for therapeutic and behavioral treatment interventions. All services, with the exception of the evaluation process, are provided in the home and community.

Provides funding and administrative oversight for services in the community that support people and their families living with serious and persistent mental illness, children and adolescents with a mental health diagnosis, individuals with intellectual disability, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and children birth to age three (3) for early intervention services. Through an intake process, a person’s eligibility for services and funding is determined and referrals are made to appropriate programs that correspond to service needs.

Provides hands-on lessons for children ages 2 and 3 and their families. Parents participate in classroom activities and observe training techniques they can reinforce at home.

Provides Early Intervention Service (EIS) Coordination for Beaver County families. Connects children in need with intervention services provided at their home or day care location.

Provides early intervention and early childhood services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers who are referred by either a local base service unit (birth through three) or the Bucks County Intermediate Unit (ages three through five), in home, community, and classroom-based programs.

Creates life-changing solutions for children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities, autism and other social, sensory and developmental disorders and their families through a variety programs designed to increase independence, maximize opportunities, minimize barriers and enhance quality of life. Provides Early Intervention services for children starting at birth and free developmental screenings to ensure early identification of potential delays when it is most critical. Offers summer day camps and overnight camp; weekend respite camp; autism diagnostic clinic; ABA therapy coaching for parents of children with autism; community supports/habilitation for adults; and programs to prepare high school students to transition into employment, and support for adults who want to secure and/or maintain employment.

Early Intervention provides services and supports for children age 0-3 with developmental delays.

Early Intervention is an entitlement program for children from birth to 3 years, who have a developmental delay of 25% or more in one or more of the major areas of development (physical, sensory, cognitive, language/speech, social-emotional and self-care). At-risk children, including infants affected by premature birth, alcohol, drugs or lead poisoning and infants who have been abused or neglected are eligible for services. An entitlement program means that any eligible child, regardless of financial status, is entitled to receive services. Services include, among others, family training, speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and assessment which are coordinated by Support Coordinators.

Campus and community homes and apartments offering respite, semi-independent living, supported living programs, and shared-living programs/lifesharing, vocational and employment services. Devereux Pennsylvania Adult Services (formerly known as the "Whitlock Center") serves nearly 400 adults living in homes and apartments throughout southeast Pennsylvania, as well as in our Berwyn community. Our dedicated team of 600 staff, ranging from highly-specialized clinicians and nurses, to recreational and direct staff professionals, all work with one common goal: the happiness, self-fulfillment and social integration of each adult in our community.

Offers a range of services designed to help families parenting a child with developmental delays. Services are designed to foster typical early childhood development and healthy family functioning through consultation, education, intervention, and training.

Offers a wide range of services to address each child’s specific needs. Provides physical therapy, speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, and developmental therapy, through early Intervention services at no cost to parents through federally funded programs.

Provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, special instruction, behavioral services, and vision therapy to children with developmental delays or disabilities ages birth to three.

A comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation program that provides diagnostic, evaluative treatments and referral services for children up to 18 years old who have developmental delays or difficulties, learning problems or have physical disabilities or injuries requiring rehabilitation. Good Shepherd also has contracts to serve as a provider of Early Intervention Services for both Lehigh and Northampton counties for children up to three years old.

Offers home visits by registered nurses who provide information, support, and encouragement to parents to increase parent knowledge of early childhood development and improve parenting practices, provide early detection of developmental delays and health issues, prevent child abuse and neglect, and increase children’s school readiness and school success.
