Standardized and coordinated assessment and referral service for everyone who is seeking services from the network of homeless services in Bradford, Clinton, Lycoming, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga and Wyoming Counties. Clients will complete an assessment with an intake caseworker and will then be referred to the appropriate program.

Works with the Western Pennsylvania Continuum of Care (WCoC) system to provide emergency shelter, transitional housing, help with locating and establishing a new residence, and case management for individuals and families experiencing homelessness throughout the region.

Provides a safe and warm emergency shelter that houses up to 12 families. The shelter is a temporary home until the parents can get back on their feet. CARES provides case management, life skills classes, employment search support, parenting classes, and children’s activities. Our team also provides linkage to independent housing, benefits acquisition, and healthcare services for up to 90 days. Family shelter is located in Shippensburg, PA, Cumberland County.
