We also provide outreach to homeless veterans.The Social Work program also offers counseling to veterans with drug, alcohol, and emotional problems, to help veterans and their families understand and adjust to an illness or disability, to veterans and family members who want to prepare advance directives and durable powers of attorney for health care or finances, to help veterans and their families cope with terminal illness,and to family members about legal issues such as commitment and guardianship.

Provides custom measured manual and power wheelchairs with specialty controls or equipment to improve quality of life. They evaluate current limitations, then create customized rehab equipment specific to individuals needs to provide greater independence. Provide rentals and trial chairs so that the residents receive the correct equipment.

Provides reimbursement for care giving expenses for people caring for parents, spouses, children or relatives that live at home. Benefits provided include: financial reimbursements, adult day care, skilled nursing and household expenses, home modification or assistive devices such as ramps and wheelchairs. Information and referral on resources, respite care, benefits counseling, caregiver training, and care coordination may also be available.

Provides persons with disabilities that reside in their own residence or the home of the family with home and community habilitation, companion, respite, camps, home and vehicle adaptation.

Sells, rents, installs, and services wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, platform lifts, patient lifts, pool lifts, grab bars, accessible showers, accessible kitchens, personal emergency response systems, and more.

Provides handicap ramps at no charge for individuals in need of a ramp to safely enter or exit their homes.

Offers public health and clinic services including family planning, immunizations, STD testing and treatment, lead abatement, emergency preparedness, maternal and child health, limited dental care, in-home asthma trigger assessments, injury prevention, and chronic disease education.

Collects, refurbishes, and distributes durable home medical equipment to the local community. Also collects and refurbishes used and surplus medical equipment for shipping to hundreds of clinics in developing nations.
