Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) offers mileage reimbursement to help you get to medical care or services from a Medical Assistance provider.

Provides non-emergency transportation to county residents who have a valid Medical Assistance card. The program transports to and from certified medical providers for the purpose of treatment, medical evaluation or prescription, and/or medical equipment purchase.

Provides eligible clients with transportation in one of the following ways: A) Public Fixed-Route Bus - Bus tickets will be provided to passengers who live on or near the bus routes, and appointments should be scheduled according to the bus schedules. B) Mileage Reimbursement - Access to a private vehicle (client's or client's family member). C) Shared-Ride Paratransit Service - Public Fixed-Route is unavailable and no access to a vehicle. GO Westmoreland will provide transportation to and from qualified Medicaid enrolled providers who are generally available and used by other members of the community or locality in which you are located. Please note that GO will not provide trips that are less than ¼ mile.

A ministry that connects churches with the needs of the community. Some examples of the volunteer services provided are personal care, friendly visits, transportation, homemaking assistance, home maintenance, budget guidance, respite care, and tutoring/mentoring. Financial aid not available.

Offers a choice food pantry, transportation assistance, personal hygiene assistance, vouchers for clothing and household goods, and Christmas assistance.

Provides shared ride services in Butler County. Also manages Butler County Transportation for Persons with Disabilities, Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP), Welfare-to-Work Transportation (PennDot), and other related transportation services.

Prevention of blindness programs including free vision screenings for children 12 months to 6 years of age. Transportation: This free door-to-door service provides rides to essential medical appointment or critical service need, such as obtaining a photo ID or grocery shopping. Individuals must live in Allegheny County and meet the program criteria. Appointments requested to be made in advance.

Offers emergency ambulance response, non-emergency ambulance transports for those needing medical care during transfers to other medical facilities, paramedic intercept response in conjunction with volunteer fire departments. Also provides wheelchair van and medical taxi transportation to and from medical appointments, community paramedicine in-home visit program, educational programs that can be presented in-school, health fairs, etc., health and safety tips, and teaches CPR.

Offers local transportation service within Montgomery County for older adults. Service is provided in vans or sedans; lift equipped vehicles are available upon request. Trips can be for any purpose but are limited to 8 one-way trips per month.

Provides transportation to dialysis centers, doctors' offices, personal care homes, and specialized medical clincs.

Intake, eligibility and coordination of transportation for those without Medical Assistance who are going to a medical appointment. At this time, due to funding restrictions, HSDF Transportation is only available to dialysis.

Provides in-home, non-medical services for older adults to help maintain independence and well-being. Services are provided by volunteers and include transportation to medical appointments, help with grocery shopping and errands, friendly visiting, help reading mail, and home safety inspections.

Provides veterans with transportation to non-emergency medical appointments, therapy, counseling sessions, job interviews, and court appearances. Can provide extended transportation services as needed.

Provides transportation that allows access to medical and pharmacy needs only. Department will assess the mode of transportation to be provided. Destinations must be to medical assistance providers only. No exceptions.

Provides free public transportation (bus, subway, incline) tickets, or reimbursement for use of public transportation/private vehicle, or free door-to-door service (when medically necessary) via a shared ride. MATP is required by law to provide the least costly, most appropriate transportation service available.
