The Senior Free Transit Program is made possible through funding by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The program offers free public bus transportation for senior citizens ages 65 and over on all routes at all times.

Provides a 10-Trip Bus Pass for newly employed individuals. Up to two are provided to give individuals the opportunity to receive their first paycheck. In special circumstances, an All-Day Bus Pass may be provided in the case of an illness to get to medical appointments or to attend job interviews.

Enables persons with disabilities to ride a public bus for one-half of the regular fare.

Provides safe, convenient, efficient, and affordable public transportation to the citizens of the Greater Williamsport Area and Lycoming County. Services include:

• EZ Fare passes
• Bus transfers
• PennDOT Free Program for Senior Citizens
• $1.00 Cash Fare Card for Certified Persons with Disabilities presenting one of the following: PA Reduced Transit Fare ID Card, RVT Plus ID Card, or Medicare Card
• Special Student and Youth Rates

Provides the following services: A Transfer Station, Express Services to Harrisburg (83N) and to Northern Maryland (83S), Fixed Routes, Transit Connections, Express Service connects via the 15N rabbitEXPRESS to Amtrak to Harrisburg Station, and a connection to the Harrisburg International Airport (HIA/MDT) via the Capital Area Transit (CAT) bus.

Serves as an outreach program that works with other programs to avoid duplication of services. Provides a food pantry, referrals, bus passes, utility relief, prescription assistance, spiritual care, and special seasonal/holiday programs.

Provides emergency financial assistance to help with rent, utilities, gasoline, local bus passes, and prescriptions. Offers vouchers for clothing. Limited to once a year.

Provides rapid monetary assistance to transgender/gender-expansive individuals or the parents of transgender youth under the age of 18 residing with the parent. Includes one-time rent assistance, food assistance, mutual aid for utilities, car repair, trans-affirming medication, and bus passes. All payments are made directly to the vendor. Application does not guarantee approval.

Provides transitional transportation assistance and minimizes barriers that prevent persons from being hired and becoming dependable employees. Provides transportation through bus passes, Shared-Ride Transportation, Taxi, mileage reimbursement, child care transportation. Participants may receive benefits for a maximum of one year, with a lifetime amount of benefits. Provides case management form STEP staff, who coordinate progress and target a selection of needed services.

Assists with bus passes (while supply lasts) to seek out employment (4 passes) and once employment is gained (11 passes), one time every 90 days. Offers a men's clothing closet. Provides community breakfast once a month.

PWD provides access to shared ride service by paying a co-pay similar to senior citizens without restriction to income or trip purpose.

Sells daily and monthly bus passes for use on Cambria Transit Authority buses.

Assists with gas money. Reserves this service for true emergencies.

Assists with transportation, childcare scholarships, and free tax prep (VITA). Provides temporary food assistance for SNAP recipients.
