Assists consumers receiving Social Security benefits and who are struggling to manage their Social Security and Disability payments. Consumers are provided with hands-on assistance with monetary tasks such as budgeting, paying bills, enrollment in assistance programs and debt reduction.

A representative payee (payee) manages benefit payments for our beneficiaries who are incapable of managing their Social Security or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments. Social Security law and regulations require payees to use the payments they receive for the current needs of the beneficiary and in their best interests. While serving as a representative payee, we encourage you to go beyond just managing payments and be actively involved in the beneficiary’s life. The following lists the required duties of a payee. Required Duties: Determine the beneficiary’s needs and use his or her payments to meet those needs; Save any money left after meeting the beneficiary’s current needs in an interest bearing account or savings bonds for the beneficiary's future needs; Report any changes or events which could affect the beneficiary's eligibility for payments; Keep records of all payments received and how you spent and saved them; Provide all records of how payments are spent or saved to SSA upon request

Handles the financial, medical and private affairs of individuals who need assistance or are not able to handle their personal affairs. Services include power of attorney, guardianship, case management, estate management and planning, medical advocacy and decision making, placement in housing or nursing facility, counseling with families, paying bills, trustee services, and other ancillary services depending on need.

Assists individuals with money management using a safe and organized approach that includes the management of checking accounts, tracking and maintenance of payments and savings and allocation of money for day-to-day living expenses, while adhering to the Social Security Administration's accounting guidelines.

Services based on individual need and may include supports coordination, clinical psychiatric care and financial management, such as Representative Payee and Agency with Choice.

Offers homeless individuals Crisis Intervention and Continuing Care, Information and Referral to Local Drug and Alcohol and Mental Health Services. Recovery Specialist on Staff; Resource Coordination; Sober and Supportive Day Room Environment.

Assists clients with guardianship needs and services for elderly.

Offers financial management and counseling. The level of support provided is based on individual needs. Services may include developing and implementing budgets, resolving past debts while establishing good credit, coordinating with the Social Security Administration and the Department of Health and Human Services, and accessing other community and financial resources.

Responsible for assisting consumers who require assistance with their financial affairs.

Provides financial monitoring and fund administration to individuals receiving social security who are unable to manage their own finances.

Manages the financial transactions of individuals who need help managing their Social Security. Works with other professionals and SSA to make sure finances are available for providing food, shelter, clothing, and medical care for the individual.

Provides the security of money management using a safe and organized approach that includes the management of checking accounts, tracking and maintenance of payments and savings and allocation of money for day-to-day living expenses, while adhering to the Social Security Administration’s accounting guidelines. A representative payee helps beneficiaries who need assistance in managing their benefits. A representative payee’s responsibilities include: A) Using benefits to pay for the current and foreseeable needs of the beneficiaries B) Appropriately saving any remaining benefits C) Keeping good records on how you spent the benefits

Arranges for SSI recipients to be sent to Blair CAP, a bank, relative or other individual who has been appointed under federal law to act as a surrogate for recipients in situations where they are unable to manage their own funds.

A homeless prevention program that provides financial oversight and management to individuals receiving social security who are unable to manage their own finances.

Offers representative payee service and financial management assistance that includes budgeting and bill paying service.

Provides assistance with questions about benefits eligibility, financial guardianship, and representative payee services. Benefits Coordinators offer help with determining eligibility and applying for benefits such as Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Social Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Income (SSDI).

* Coordinated Entry Access Site, connects individuals to programs within the Conference or refers out to community resources. Also helps qualifying low-income individuals and families with rental assistance, goal setting and budgeting. Provides bus passes for interviews or for first week of employment. Toiletries/personal grooming items provided as available. * Various rental assistance programs * Homeless Supportive Services: Provides intensive case management and referrals to other support services for single, adult, chronically homeless individuals. Assist street homeless men and women to connect to community resources as they strive to move from homelessness to self-sufficiency. * Social Security Representative Payee Program: Provides financial monitoring and fund administration to individuals receiving social security who are unable to manage their own finances.

Assists individuals with budgeting expenses and to ensure that basic needs such as food, rent, utilities are met. Provides guardianship and Power of Attorney for the elderly. Helps maintain a quality of life, tomake decisions and choices without sacrificing dignity and respect.

Provides assistance with money management and creating a budget for SSI/SSD recipients.

Provides financial management services. Receives income payments, prepares and administers budgets, communicates with landlords, vendors, and Social Security, and disburses funds on behalf of the individual. Individuals receive a monthly statement showing income, disbursements, and current account balances.

Assists older adults who have difficulty with their financial affairs and problems maintaining their finances. Trained volunteers prepare bills for payment, assist with check-writing, and balance checkbooks.

The staff and consumer jointly prepare a budget to assist the consumer in managing their monthly expenses with the outcome of achieving financial stability.

Assists individuals with money management using a safe and organized approach that includes the management of checking accounts, tracking and maintenance of payments and savings and allocation of money for day-to-day living expenses, while adhering to the Social Security Administration's accounting guidelines.

Assists clients with budgeting and managing finances, paying bills, and completing documents for the Social Security Administration, County Assistance Office, etc. The goal is to work with eligible individuals to maintain housing, secure food, medications, and clothing.

Provides residential services and supports, for individuals 18 and older who have a mental health diagnosis. Also offers a supportive housing program.
