Recruits, screens, trains, and supervises volunteer advocates who are then appointed by the Juvenile Judge to advocate for the best interests of abused and/or neglected children. Offers services that may include: Advocating for abused and/or neglected children involved in dependency court proceedings; Independently investigating facts of the case for the court; Making recommendations to the court based on case facts and information gathered; Monitors court orders to ensure services are provided to and utilized by the child and family; Attending all meetings and court proceedings.

Offers a comprehensive response to allegations of child abuse throughout Warren County. A dedicated, child-friendly setting provides victims and caregivers a safe space to begin to find help, hope, healing and justice. Available services include forensic interviewing, family advocacy, facility dog program, court accompaniment, case coordination and management, child abuse prevention information, child abuse reporting information, a speakers bureau, and customized training.

Offers a collaborative program that creates a safe and child friendly environment where law enforcement, prosecution, victim advocacy, and child protective services can work together to create coordinated strategies to investigate reports of child abuse. Also offers counseling.
The Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) of Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties is a private, non-profit, charitable organization overseen by FSA NEPA and a committee of community members. CAC provides a safe, comfortable environment for children and their families as they go through the interviewing and examination processes after disclosing some type of traumatic experience. The process is facilitated by an assigned family advocate. CAC provides a Multidisciniplary Investigative Team (MDIT), made up of individuals from the District Attorney's office, law enforcement community, Child Protective Services, Victim Service, medical providers and mental health providers, to gather evidence and information in investigation of the alleged crime.

Provides forensic interviews and non-invasive medical examinations for children with allegations of sexual abuse. Together with professionals from law enforcement, criminal justice, child protective services, victim advocacy agencies, and the medical and mental health communities, provides comprehensive services for child victims and their families.

Provides onsite and offsite Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is available for children who have experienced trauma. This is a research-based, highly effective therapy. Specially trained therapists work with children and their non-offending caregivers for 8-12 sessions to address the trauma, teach coping mechanisms and build resiliency.

Provides an onsite family advocate to meet with the family during the interview for assessment and case planning with non-offending caregivers. When needed, the family advocate accompanies the child and family to medical appointments and court hearings. The family advocate acts as the child and family go to person and continues to work with the family as a support person throughout the life of the case.

Offers a range of services to children who have been sexually abused. We offer free individual and family therapy, as well as psycho educational and support groups. Additionally, we run the Delaware County Children's Advocacy Center where children referred by Children & Youth Services, law enforcement agencies, or the District Attorney's office are interviewed when abuse is suspected. We provide abuse prevention programs for children, teens, and adults, as well as specialized professional training.
