Chester County Opportunities Industrialization Center - CCOIC - Chester County Opportunities Industrialization Center - Workforce Literacy Program

The Workforce Literacy Program is a one-on-one literacy tutoring program. Available to those Adult Basic Education ABE, GED or ESL students needing additional educational support or flexible scheduling. This program also serves those needing preparation for specific advancement examinations, such as Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL. The program provides an alternative to traditional classroom instruction.

Campaign for Grade-Level Reading is served through the following programs or partnerships: School Readiness. Dolly Parton's Imagination Libary providing a free book monthly program; Book Drive providing new and gently used children's books that will then be distributed to children. Reading Buddies, a volunteer reading program that brings in mentors. The Nurses Pantry provides at-risk students and families with access to commonly needed material items to address needs of an urgent nature. Summer Learning program.
