The Read to Pet Pal program helps children improve their literacy skills, confidence and self-esteem by reading to animals.

Adults are matched with a trained volunteer tutor to work on the basic skills needed to get or retain a job, or enter post-secondary education.

A community-wide initiative that brings together schools, businesses, organizations and individuals to improve early grade reading success. Volunteer opportunities include tutoring a 2nd grade student with reading and assisting with a book exchange program on Wednesday mornings.

The Workforce Literacy Program is a one-on-one literacy tutoring program. Available to those Adult Basic Education ABE, GED or ESL students needing additional educational support or flexible scheduling. This program also serves those needing preparation for specific advancement examinations, such as Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL. The program provides an alternative to traditional classroom instruction.
