Supports and promotes the interests of those who are low vision or blind and the prevention of blindness through a wide range of services, including:

• Rehabilitation Services to teach vision impaired persons and their family's techniques and use of adaptive equipment to promote independence
• Kid Sight screenings
• Vision Voucher Program
• Sight Loss Support Groups

• Provides a comprehensive medical eye exam and care for any condition diagnosed at the initial exam for up to one year at no out-of-pocket cost to those who qualify through its corps of more than 5,000 volunteer ophthalmologist nationwide.
• Raise awareness about eye disease and health including cataracts, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease

Excludes eyeglasses, prescription drugs, hospital services and fees of other medical professionals.
