EyeCare America - Seniors Eyecare Program (SEP)
- Provides a comprehensive medical eye exam and care for any condition diagnosed at the initial exam for up to one year at no out-of-pocket cost to those who qualify through its corps of more than 5,000 volunteer ophthalmologist nationwide.
- Raise awareness about eye disease and health including cataracts, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease
Excludes eyeglasses, prescription drugs, hospital services and fees of other medical professionals.

Services offered:
- Comprehensive examination by an ophthalmologist or optometrist. Discusses what low vision aids are available. 
- Occupational Therapy services 
- Orientation and Mobility training
- Demonstration, evaluation and sale of Closed Circuit Television Systems, also known as CCTVs. Access Technology services/training is available. 
- Provides comprehensive client support services: Access Technology, Talking Book Program, Public Education, Low Vision Rehabilitation, Low Vision Services, Preschool Screening and Remedial Eye Care. 
- Provides Social Services, including transportation to medical appointments and essential community errands; and in-home support services.

- Referrals to local ophthalmologists for diagnosis and treatment, eye examinations and refractions for low income individuals without medical insurance
- Assistance for the purchase of single lens eyeglasses for low-income individuals  
- Braille Transcription    
- Sight Loss Support Groups
