The Haven Program for individuals with developmental (mental and intellectual) disabilities equips clients with skills needed for job readiness and maximizes their abilities to contribute to their community.

Provides comprehensive services to assist Pennsylvanians with disabilities prepare for, obtain and maintain employment. Services available include skills assessment, training, counseling, placement assistance, evaluation for assistive technology and ongoing support services. The Hiram G. Andrews Center offers post-secondary education at the Commonwealth Technical Institute, and also provides career opportunities and independent living skills. The Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing provides information, referral and advocacy to adults and children who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as their employers, relatives and friends. An online database of qualified sign language interpreters is available.

Provides supportive services that assists individuals with disabilities prepare for, find, and retain paid employments.

Helping individuals with disabilities to achieve their full social, vocational and economic potential through sheltered workshop, community employment programs and various community work sites

Provides community based employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Eligible participants are assessed to determine their abilities and interest areas. An Employment Training Specialist (ETS) is assigned to each individual. The ETS works one-on-one with the consumer to prepare him or her for the world of competitive employment. Basic job search skills including application/resume writing, and interviewing skills are addressed via Job Readiness Classes.

Provides janitorial vocational training services at Letterkenny to qualified persons. Upon acceptance to the program, trainees complete an initial one-day pre-training and during this time their wage is determined; their pay is performance-based. Trainees are then supervised by team crew leaders who provide continual job coaching and training. Trainees can remain in our program until they have met specific productivity and behavioral criteria. Once those criteria are met, the Employment Specialists are responsible for helping the trainee obtain competitive employment within the community.

Provides the following day programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disability (IDD): - Adult developmental services to increase independence in activities of daily living and community integration - Employment placement services for persons with developmental disabilities into competitive employment. Long-term support provided to employers as well as the employees.

Provides skills training for employment readiness development to prepare for life skills outside of school and help youth get ready for work. Includes introduction to workplace, interpersonal, and professional skills.

Provides information and referral services to individuals who are blind or vision impaired.

Offers a wide array of non-residential community support programs for adults with specials needs including older adult learning centers, vocational needs, and other support programs and day programs.

A mobile workforce that provides training and employment to individuals with disabilities. Skills taught are sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and cleans offices and homes.

Job development, skills assessment, resume preparation, interview preparation, job coaching, on the job training, travel training, and follow along job support to assist an individuals to gain and maintain competitive employment in the community. Service is provided at a one-to-one ratio.

Employs individuals who are blind in manufacturing, food processing, administrative services, and leadership roles. Assists Pennsylvanians with disabilities in gaining the skills necessary to live and work independently in their communities. OVR services include: diagnostic services, vocational evaluation, vocational counseling, job training, medical services and assistive technology equipment to help clients pursue and achieve employment, and job placement assistance.

You will meet privately with professional staff to develop a plan that establishes your vocational goals and objectives for the year. You will work in a safe, comfortable, well supervised and supportive workplace modeled after the factory environments of area manufacturers. Within this setting, you will work on tasks such as: hand and machine assembly, heat sealing and shrink wrapping, drilling, gluing, sorting, packaging, labeling and occasional clerical jobs. You will also work with professional staff to develop your social skills so that you can work cooperatively with others while on the job and in future work settings. You will be paid for this work in keeping with the United States Department of Labor standards. This service is licensed by Pennsylvaniaâs Department of Public Welfare/Office of Developmental Programs.

Roads to Freedom's Employment Service involves processes/steps that must be followed to insure the best placement possible. Processes/steps to be followed for successful employment in Customized Employment are Discovery, Vocational Profile, Planning Meeting, Job Development, and Job Coaching. Interested consumers can use CILNCP as their Employment Network, funded as a fee for service through Maximus. The Ticket to Work (TTW) incentive is designed to remove the barriers that disability beneficiaries currently face in returning to work. As an Employment Network, CILNCP will coordinate employment, vocational rehabilitation, and other support services for beneficiaries. The OVR counselor assists customers in selecting their choice of vocational goals, services and service providers.

OVR services include: diagnostic services, vocational evaluation, vocational counseling, job training, medical services and assistive technology equipment to help clients pursue and achieve employment, and job placement assistance.

Provides adults and youth with pre-employment activities, community work assessments, benefits counseling, job placement, job coaching, and follow-up job support services.

Provides job assessments, readiness, development, and placement, along with community-based work assessment, on-the-job training, Social Security benefits and follow-along services. Individuals are assisted through the entire job search process including constructing resumes, practicing interview skills, and applying for jobs

Provides job placement, on-site job training for a limited time, and follow up services. Individuals work with an employment team to develop a job within the community which is consistent with the individual's capabilities and interests.
