CSG offers a wide range of support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Services are individualized and driven by the needs and goals of the individual and his or her loved ones, with a focus on increasing independence at home and in the community. Support includes: Residential living arrangements; Supported care for individuals who live on their own or with their families; Employment services that provide the guidance needed to find and retain jobs; Adult day programs in both group and individual settings; Behavioral support services.

An Employment Training Specialist (ETS) is assigned to each individual. The ETS works one-on-one with the consumer to prepare him or her for the world of competitive employment. Basic job search skills including application/resume writing, and interviewing skills are addressed via Job Readiness Classes.

Provides employment training services that will support an individual in training, finding, and keeping a community job. Services include: Paid training program with competitive wages, Training evaluation and goals specific to individual needs, Employment Preparation (explores options, job placement plans, resumes, and interview prep, access to assistive technology), Job Search (search the local job market, contact employers, track job search), Job Placement (match with opportunities that meet job skills, educate employers about special needs), Follow-Along and Job Retention (on-the-job coaching and support, regular communication with employer within the first 30 days of employment, on-going job and skills training, advice on advancement or promotion), Employer Support (special needs education as it relates to workplace modifications, tax incentives for hiring individuals with disabilities), and Follow up services after the training program.

Provides janitorial vocational training services at Letterkenny to qualified persons. Upon acceptance to the program, trainees complete an initial one-day pre-training and during this time their wage is determined; their pay is performance-based. Trainees are then supervised by team crew leaders who provide continual job coaching and training. Trainees can remain in our program until they have met specific productivity and behavioral criteria. Once those criteria are met, the Employment Specialists are responsible for helping the trainee obtain competitive employment within the community.

Andrews Center offers post-secondary education at the Commonwealth Technical Institute, and also provides career opportunities and independent living skills. The Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing provides information, referral and advocacy to adults and children who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as their employers, relatives and friends. An online database of qualified sign language interpreters is available.
