A mobile workforce that provides training and employment to individuals with disabilities. Skills taught are sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and cleans offices and homes.

The Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, or OVR, provides vocational rehabilitation services to help persons with disabilities prepare for, obtain, or maintain employment. OVR provides services to eligible individuals with disabilities, both directly and through a network of approved vendors. Services are provided on an individualized basis. The OVR counselor, during face-to-face interviews, assists customers in selecting their choice of vocational goals, services and service providers. An Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) is developed, outlining a vocational objective, services, providers and responsibilities. Certain services are subject to a Financial Needs Test (FNT) and may require financial participation by the customer. Counseling and guidance, diagnostic services, assessments, information and referral, job development and placement, and personal services such as readers or sign language interpreters are provided at no cost to the individual. Workers earn competitive wages while working in a flexible, individualized, consumer-centered program, guided by a team that includes staff members from Private Industry Council (PIC) and the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR).

Employs and trains indviduals with disabilites together with non-disabled workers to provide commercial facilities with customized cleaning to meet facility needs. All employees are professionally uniformed, trained, and supervised.

Provides services and support to learn skills needed to work at the job of choice in the community. Services include job finding, job coaching, supportive employment, community based work assessments, discovery profiles, customized employment, career assessments, and on-the-job training.

Provides janitorial vocational training services at Letterkenny to qualified persons. Upon acceptance to the program, trainees complete an initial one-day pre-training and during this time their wage is determined; their pay is performance-based. Trainees are then supervised by team crew leaders who provide continual job coaching and training. Trainees can remain in our program until they have met specific productivity and behavioral criteria. Once those criteria are met, the Employment Specialists are responsible for helping the trainee obtain competitive employment within the community.

Through School-to-Work Transition Services, Via works with students, in partnership with their school districts and the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation to create a personalized employment plan and explore careers of interest.

Provides job assessments, readiness, development, and placement, along with community-based work assessment, on-the-job training, Social Security benefits and follow-along services. Individuals are assisted through the entire job search process including constructing resumes, practicing interview skills, and applying for jobs

Provides comprehensive services to assist Pennsylvanians with disabilities prepare for, obtain and maintain employment. Services available include skills assessment, training, counseling, placement assistance, evaluation for assistive technology and ongoing support services. The Hiram G. Andrews Center offers post-secondary education at the Commonwealth Technical Institute, and also provides career opportunities and independent living skills. The Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing provides information, referral and advocacy to adults and children who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as their employers, relatives and friends. An online database of qualified sign language interpreters is available.

Assists employers in retaining, recruiting, and hiring qualified workers. Job seekers are assisted in finding competitive employment. Services include resume and interview preparation, job-seeking skill development, community-based assessments, work site analysis for accommodations, job coaching supports, and follow-up services.

Offers a wide array of non-residential community support programs for adults with specials needs including older adult learning centers, vocational needs, and other support programs and day programs.

Programs include vocational training, job finding and support, enhancing skills for daily living, volunteerism, and activities. Job coaches guide and assist until each person can perform their job duties and becomes familiar with the culture of their employer. Once employed, follow-up services are provided to ensure the job experience is successful for the person and the employer.

Provides for employment in a setting that allows the individual to work at his/her own level of capability. This program offers training in all spheres of employment to include job training on a variety of jobs, social competence in the work place, and worker personality.

Job development, skills assessment, resume preparation, interview preparation, job coaching, on the job training, travel training, and follow along job support to assist an individuals to gain and maintain competitive employment in the community. Service is provided at a one-to-one ratio.

Provides employment training services that will support an individual in training, finding, and keeping a community job. Services include: Paid training program with competitive wages, Training evaluation and goals specific to individual needs, Employment Preparation (explores options, job placement plans, resumes, and interview prep, access to assistive technology), Job Search (search the local job market, contact employers, track job search), Job Placement (match with opportunities that meet job skills, educate employers about special needs), Follow-Along and Job Retention (on-the-job coaching and support, regular communication with employer within the first 30 days of employment, on-going job and skills training, advice on advancement or promotion), Employer Support (special needs education as it relates to workplace modifications, tax incentives for hiring individuals with disabilities), and Follow up services after the training program.

CSG offers a wide range of support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Services are individualized and driven by the needs and goals of the individual and his or her loved ones, with a focus on increasing independence at home and in the community. Support includes: Residential living arrangements; Supported care for individuals who live on their own or with their families; Employment services that provide the guidance needed to find and retain jobs; Adult day programs in both group and individual settings; Behavioral support services.
