Provides assistance for Hispanic and refugee communities of Erie become self-sufficient. Provides English as a Second Language Classes, Interpreting, Translating, Immigration, Day Care, Case Management, Employment, Drug & Alcohol, Aging, Diversity Training, Truancy and Cultural Enrichment.

The PA CareerLink is a one-stop job center that provides an array of employment and training services in a convenient, easily accessible location. Services include job counseling, testing and assessment; resume preparation assistance, interview training and other prejob guidance services; job matching and referral; unemployment insurance and job registration; labor market and career information; information on financial aid for education and training; and referral for job training, transportation, child care, personal and financial counseling, health care and other human services resources in the community.

Provides comprehensive training and employment services to assist eligible farmworkers to reach self-sufficiency through successful job placement.

Offers intensive case management, academic remediation, job readiness preparation, job development and job placement assistance.

Offers individualized career services for refugees, immigrants, and other foreign born populations, Participants receive assistance developing a professional resume, support in transferring professional skills and credentials, introductions to local and regional employers, and advice for adjusting to the American workplace.

Immigration Counseling: Accredited to give low cost legal immigration advice and assistance, representing clients before the Immigration Services and the Courts. Help clients fill out forms for a nominal fee. Experience with family petitions, citizenship, application for green cards, work permits, green card replacement, travel documents, bond hearings, master calendar hearings, and more. Refugee Resettlement and Match Grant Program: Work with community-based and faith-based groups to resettle refugees who come to them through the US Refugee Program. Also works with individuals who have received asylum status. Funds are only available for those refugees who were resettled by their office or asylees who were accepted into their Match Grant Program. Intensive Case Management and Navigation Support Program, offering intensive, extended and short-term support to eligible individuals and families. Assists refugees, asylees, victims of trafficking, SIVS, and Cuban/Haitian Entrants within 3-5 years of arrival to UA. No fees charged. Accepts donations of lightly used furniture and household goods in good condition, by appointment only. No appliances. Only for refugees an some asylees. Limited storage and manpower. Operates a free food market once a month for clients

Provides information and referral, service coordination to assess needs and connect clients to a full range of community connections, and bilingual navigation. Offers regularly-scheduled workforce development programs for newcomers to the US.

Helps refugees, asylees, and victims of human trafficking prepare to enter the workforce. Services include Vocational English Language Training (VELT) classes; acculturation workshops; case management services; workshops on interviewing, resume writing, workforce foundation skills, and job readiness; computer literacy classes; job placement assistance and follow-up; and programming assisting youth ages 16 to 17 find part-time work during the school year or full-time summer employment.
