Regional resource connection for Animal Assisted Interventions (AAI) and Human/Animal Interactions (HAI). - Provides informational presentations to facilities and the community to further introduce them to KPETS and the benefits of AAI and HAIs. - Recruits, trains, educates and registers volunteers wanting to share their pet with those who may benefit from the human/animal bond. - Provide opportunities for facilities, agencies and individuals requesting pet therapy visits to connect with KPETS volunteers.

Takes donations of pet food to feed other needy animals in the community via the pet food bank at HSHA's shelter. The HSHA pet food bank is available to participating local food banks and animal welfare organizations, as well as, local residents.

Offers monthly food pantry and access to clothing closet. Carries pet food. Provides delivery of food and pet pantry items to clients who do not have transportation.

Provides assistance with pet food, primarily through referrals to partnering food pantries.

Provides food to eligible clients at no charge, one time per month, with no appointment necessary during cupboard hours. Offers non-perishibles, dairy, meat, produce, personal care items, diapers, and pet food as available.

Offers free dog and cat food for those in need. The goals of the Pet Food Pantry are to keep beloved pets in their homes, prevent animal surrender, and help ensure that all the pets of Centre County are happy and healthy.

Assists government officials in responding to or handling companion animal and domestic livestock needs during a disaster. Temporary animal sheltering for any numbers of domesticated animals from any emergency or disaster situation: fires, floods, power outages, entrapments, evacuations, vehicle accidents, etc.

Provides free food to pets of veterans.

Provides homebound seniors and adults with disabilities freshly prepared, nutritious meals, helping clients live independently for as long as possible. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday by their volunteers, who also provide a friendly wellness check with each visit. Provides a humane animal shelter. Services include adoptions, foster program, animal vaccination clinics, and a low-cost spay/neuter program. Also provides 24-hour rescue and emergency assistance to homeless animals in distress. Investigators check out all reports of cruelty or abuse and prosecutes when warranted. Donations of animal care items and pet food accepted; volunteer opportunities available.

Assists individual pet owners who need temporary relief in the form of food and supplies for their companion animals.

Monthly pet food distribution for pets of individuals/families of low income.

Offers care of the stray and unwanted pets. Includes: dog licenses, lost and found pets, trap rentals, dog obedience class, volunteer opportunities, pet cremation services, and adoption. Does not offer veterinary services.

Offers temporary shelter and care for stray and unwanted animals. Provides adoption and placement services, humane education program, neuter/spay assistance, information on animal care, investigation and prosecution of cruelty and neglect complaints, and animal food. Volunteer opportunities are available.

Offers cremation services to pet owners with a variety of options including private cremation with the pet's remains returned in an urn.

Assists individual pet owners who need temporary relief in the form of food and supplies for their companion animals.

Provides free or discounted pet care services, pet food, and supplies to low-income pet owners.

Provides pet care services, including animal lost-and-found, animal rescues, low-cost veterinary clinic care, obedience training, and more.

Provides nutritious monthly food supplements to families and individuals who are struggling with food insecurity. Participants are able to visit once per month, (i.e. one time in the month of February, one time in the month of March, etc.). Dry goods, frozen meats, eggs, and fresh produce are provided when available. Other resources are available within the pantry space including voter registration, open computer lab, a pet food pantry, and referrals to other CHS programming.

Distributes pet food and supplies to families in need with the hope of preventing animal surrender into the shelter system.

The shelter takes in stray or lost animals at no charge and accepts pet animals for a surrender fee. Once the animals are signed over to the shelter the staff takes on the responsibility of finding loving new homes or the owner of those animals that have been lost.

Distributes food items, pet food, hygiene and feminine products, clothing, tween and adolescent items, and household items. Also accepts donations of items.
