Provides homebound seniors and adults with disabilities freshly prepared, nutritious meals, helping clients live independently for as long as possible. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday by their volunteers, who also provide a friendly wellness check with each visit. In addition to home-delivered meals, clients have access to a variety of additional support services, including: Senior Food Boxes Food Pantry Assistance Emergency Food Boxes Pet Food for furry companions

Offers temporary shelter and care for stray and unwanted animals. Provides adoption and placement services, humane education program, neuter/spay assistance, information on animal care, investigation and prosecution of cruelty and neglect complaints, and animal food. Volunteer opportunities are available.

Pet food is available in case of emergencies.

Provides nutritious monthly food supplements to families and individuals who are struggling with food insecurity. Participants are able to visit once per month, (i.e. one time in the month of February, one time in the month of March, etc.). Dry goods, frozen meats, eggs, and fresh produce are provided when available. Other resources are available within the pantry space including voter registration, open computer lab, a pet food pantry, and referrals to other CHS programming.

Promotes the welfare and humane treatment of animals and serves as an advocate on their behalf.

Provides free or discounted pet care services, pet food, and supplies to low-income pet owners.

Provides low coat spray/neuter clinics for dogs and cats. Clinics are scheduled at various locations thoughout the area.

If a stray/lost pet is found, please contact the shelter. If you have lost and animal contact the shelter as soon as possible to make a lost animal report.

Offers resources and assistance to help individuals and families keep pets rather than feel forced to rehome them or surrender them to the shelter.

Helps low-income individuals and families maintain and care for their pets by providing supplemental food, treats and occasional toys for dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. Provides food for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, fish, and turtles when available.

No-kill shelter provides a safe and healthy environment for animals. Services include adoptions, a foster program, and a low-cost spay/neuter program.

Provides a humane animal shelter. Services include adoptions, foster program, animal vaccination clinics, and a low-cost spay/neuter program. Also provides 24-hour rescue and emergency assistance to homeless animals in distress. Investigators check out all reports of cruelty or abuse and prosecutes when warranted. Donations of animal care items and pet food accepted; volunteer opportunities available.

Distributes pet food and supplies to families in need with the hope of preventing animal surrender into the shelter system.

Takes donations of pet food to feed other needy animals in the community via the pet food bank at HSHA's shelter. The HSHA pet food bank is available to participating local food banks and animal welfare organizations, as well as, local residents.

Provides a monthly food pantry and a weekly Fresh Express Food drive-thru aupplemental food distributions. Also distributes donated pet food and products to those Fresh Express clients who have registered their pets. Emergency food is always available.
