Work Incentives Planning and Assistance or WIPA is a free service for individuals who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and want to go to work to increase their self-sufficiency. WIPA is funded by the Social Security Administration and helps SSI/SSDI beneficiaries understand the impact of earnings on their cash and health care benefits and access valuable work supports offered by Social Security.

General information about Pennsylvania's public assistance programs including, Cash Assistance, Medical Assistance/Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP/Food Stamps) and LIHEAP. Information is available by phone or internet.

Provides community educational sessions as well as one-on-one counseling on Social Security and Medicare benefit planning, long-term living planning, check writing and budgeting, and fiduciary bookkeeping. Helps to develop individualized plans to meet the needs of each client.
