In this program, young mothers living in the homes of our foster parents, called Mentors, receive intensive case management services to help them be the best moms they can be. Supports pregnant moms and their partners throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. The Birth Doula Program provides a suite of nonclinical birth support for pregnant people and their families delivering in Allegheny County hospitals, including welcome visits, prenatal support sessions, in-person or virtual birth/labor support, and a postpartum visit. The Postpartum Doula Program provides educational, emotional, and errand support for pregnant people during the first 8 weeks postpartum.

Provides a personal nurse to pregnant parents to provide visits to the parent. Offers support to parents in areas such as healthcare, parenting, continuing education, employment, linkage with community resources, fun activities to do with their child, and more.

Offers free classes to learn about pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting. Offers a variety of educational opportunities, including newborn care & safety, CPR and first aid. Also provides free pregnancy testing, counseling, and assessments to determine needed resources, assistance, and referrals to agencies and programs that can offer additional support.

Offers support and assistance to expectant women and parents of children up to the age of two. Services available include pregnancy testing, supportive counseling, and educational materials/classes on pregnancy and parenting. Participants receive a monthly "Baby Box" that including diapers, formula, and clothing.

The Nurse-Family Partnership Program helps new moms by providing: A) Specially trained registered nurse to partner with moms-to-be starting early in pregnancy and continuing through the child’s second birthday B) Care and support needed for a healthy pregnancy, and a healthy, thriving baby C) Resources and advice to keep babies healthy and safe as they grow, learn, and develop D) Voluntary, free support for moms-to-be E) Trusting relationship with a nurse who will help new moms build their confidence, achieve their goals, and create a brighter future for themselves and their babies

Mother-Baby Program: 24-hour residential care and treatment program offers young mothers the opportunity to learn how to care for their child in a responsible manner, while in an environment that promotes the welfare and development of both mother and child. Aftercare services are available to previous residents for at least a year after discharge. (Outreach services are also offered to single mothers who were not previously in the Mother-Baby residential program.) Maternity Program: 24-hour residential care for single pregnant females offering case management, health care and education; personal living skills training; social development and adjustment. Services are also available to each girl's family and to the expectant father. Provides an evidence-based program to support pregnant people in which registered nurses conduct home visits throughout the pregnancy and continue until the child turns two years old.

Offers a self-administered urine pregnancy test. Also, offers counseling regarding pregnancy options; including information on abortion and alternatives. "Earn While You Learn" classes are available at the center. Males and females can receive Baby Bucks to spend at the onsite Baby Boutique. Also provides diapers, wipes, clothing, baby food, and cereal.

Offers a home visiting program for first-time mothers. New mothers enroll early in their pregnancies and are seen on a regular basis by a nurse home educator. The visits continue through pregnancy until the child is two.

Provides comprehensive supports to expectant families and those with children under the age of 18 months including health education, developmental screenings for infants and toddlers, resources and referrals, care coordination, breastfeeding support, safe sleep education, and resources. Women can enroll pregnant or postpartum and in any pregnancy (first or subsequent).

Accepts regular and special education girls in grades 8-12 who need a small, structured and nurturing therapeutic environment where academic success is a priority. Also accepts teen girls who may be pregnant or parenting and in need of pregnancy and parenting education, services, and support while completing required coursework towards graduation.

Provides programs and supports for pregnant persons, expectant families, and parents with young children. Maintains pantries of items for babies (diapers, formula, food, wipes, furniture, etc.) and mothers (shampoo/conditioner, body wash, tampons/pads, nail care items, etc.). Offers parent education covering safe sleeping, breastfeeding, baby bathing, and more.

Open-ended support group to assist with adjustment of recent birth of child and postpartum issues through sharing of feelings and ideas.
