Mother-Baby Program: 24-hour residential care and treatment program offers young mothers the opportunity to learn how to care for their child in a responsible manner, while in an environment that promotes the welfare and development of both mother and child. Aftercare services are available to previous residents for at least a year after discharge. (Outreach services are also offered to single mothers who were not previously in the Mother-Baby residential program.) In collaboration with schools, daycare centers, congregations and institutions, JFCS offers services such as educational programs, parenting classes, peer mediation and trainings to provide youth and teens with skills and coping mechanisms to manage the myriad challenges of childhood, adolescence and parenting.

Provides modern and fun classes to encourage parents and grandparents as they navigate the challenges of parenthood. Teaches Prenatal care, Parenting, Relationships, Life Skills and more.

Supports fathers and father figures through educational programs and career development assistance. Stipends are provided to enrolled clients who participate in sessions to help assist with transportation, food, or childcare expenses incurred while participating. Offers family outings, certificates and certifications, and provides information about and referrals to additional services.

Offers support and assistance to expectant women and parents of children up to the age of two. Services available include pregnancy testing, supportive counseling, and educational materials/classes on pregnancy and parenting. Provides baby-care items including diapers, formula, and clothing.

Provides pregnancy test with verification, ultrasound pregnancy confirmation, education about pregnancy and infant care, Lay counseling as needed with parents, boyfriend, or husband, ongoing personal support, post-abortion Lay counseling, and referrals (for medical care, social services, legal aid, and adoption, housing, and foster home care). Assists with planning for future and other assistance depending on circumstances. Offers material assistance with maternity and baby needs. Provides assistance for new Dads: education, mentoring, and STI Testing and treatment for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.

Provides confidential pregnancy resources including self-administered pregnancy tests, material assistance, doctor referrals, agency referrals, adoption information, and options counseling. Offers emotional & spiritual support, individual attention, prenatal & preparation for labor classes, newborn care classes, local public & private school and group presentations on STDs, and sexual risk avoidance.

Offers a home visiting program for first-time mothers. New mothers enroll early in their pregnancies and are seen on a regular basis by a nurse home educator. The visits continue through pregnancy until the child is two.

Offers a program to all parents of newborns in York County, with priority given to first-time parents. A coach is provided free of charge at a convenient time in your own home. Visits are scheduled during your new baby's first few months home from the hospital, until the age of 4.

An array of educational workshops are available monthly to help those in need prepare for the new one coming into their life

Provides programs and supports for pregnant persons, expectant families, and parents with young children. Maintains pantries of items for babies (diapers, formula, food, wipes, furniture, etc.) and mothers (shampoo/conditioner, body wash, tampons/pads, nail care items, etc.). Offers parent education covering safe sleeping, breastfeeding, baby bathing, and more.

Delivers supportive pregnancy counseling to expectant parents, as well as parents of children under the age of one. Counselors provide educational, emotional and material support to individuals and families in either the home or office setting.

Clients can use their 'Baby Bucks’ to shop at any of our Baby Boutiques in the Lehigh Valley.
