Operates a year-round park, patrolled by York County Park Rangers. Offers a trail that is a 10-foot-wide compacted stone surface designed for hiking, bicycling, running, and horseback riding, as well as winter sports such as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Facilities along the trail include benches, picnic tables, and restrooms. Communities along the trail offer more extensive services and facilities.
Offers a park made up of old agricultural fields and an uneven-aged forest. Provides a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities and unique park features, including multi-use trails open to hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Features an Animal Activity Area, pavilion rentals, fishing activities, limited hunting, and a Dog Training Area.

Features a park with two lakes, Lake Redman and Lake Williams, both offering numerous water-related activities such as fishing, boating, and launching. Provides boat rentals at Lake Redman, including rowboats, paddle boats, canoes, and kayaks, and offers a single boat launch with limited trailer parking at Lake Williams (gas motors prohibited). Features five reservable picnic pavilions, a playground, a volleyball court, and horseshoe pits near Lake Redman. Permits limited hunting with special permits. Maintains over 12 miles of multi-use trails for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking.

Home to four species of bats that use the former iron ore mines as their habitat. Ensures their hibernation environment remains undisturbed through a protective gate installed in partnership with the Pennsylvania Game Commission and Wildlife Conservation Fund.

This can be done in one of three ways: through their Treasury Office, Call Center or Website. - Treasury Office: Accepts payment of all City of Reading bills and fees except water (RAWA) bills and property taxes. Allows walk-ins and processes payments received by all City of Reading departments. Additionally, Treasury posts payments to applicable accounts, and provides account balances upon request. - Call Center: Manages the city toll-free phone number.
