The horses's rhythmic walk is similar to man's and is beneficial for those who are unable to walk on their own. Serves the Behavioral Health needs of Mercer County in times of disaster. The team is comprised of school psychologists, mental health therapists, psychiatric nurses, mental health delegates, domestic violence counselors, clergy, school personnel, drug and alcohol prevention specialists, case managers from both mental health and intellectual disabilities departments, and program administrators.
The MENTOR Community Residential Rehabilitation Host Home Program provides an array of therapeutic supports and services to vulnerable children and their families, enabling both to be successful in their own lives and within the larger community. Basic services provided for every child include room & board, advice and counseling, medication monitoring and adherence, self-care training, supervision of schoolwork/activities, recreation, involvement in the treatment planning process, treatment plan implementation, and family support.
