Provides advocacy services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families. Offers individualized representation in accessing special education services, adult intellectual disabilities, waiver services, healthcare, transportation, and any other concerns of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Provides advocacy for mental and behavioral health services consumers in Westmoreland County. Helps consumers navigate their rights in relation to treatment options, and can assist with problems and complaints pertaining to mental and behavioral health treatment.

Assistance with obtaining a permanent job through identification of potential job opportunities; mock interviews; resume/application help; on-the-job coaching. Provides an Employment Specialist to assist in any aspect of job development, training and retention.

- Crisis and Diversion Community Residential Rehabilitation (CRR): Offers opportunity for individuals to improve daily living skills and become more integrated in the community. Residential setting assists individual and diverts from hospitalization. Recovery plans focus on 11 skill areas. - 2 crisis beds for stays less than 5 days - 12 diversion beds for stays up to 45 days - 1 bed for a dually diagnosed with MH/ID hospital diversion

Represents an innovative approach to gathering data by organizing teams of consumers and family members to affirm satisfactory services, identify gaps or trends in service provision, support providers in improving existing services, and identify consumer needs.

Promotes the concerns that affect the deaf and hard of hearing community. Provides sign language classes, interpreting, training on the use of TTY, and advocacy.

Promotes public awareness, education, and training about sickle cell disease. Offers client health advocacy, comprehensive psychosocial assessments, individual counseling, testing, social work, case management, and other supports.

Conducts health assessment of the county every three years and oversees 17 task forces and committees that are addressing past and current community health and human service needs.

Peer specialists assists support on basic living skills, support and advocacy, developing a social network, and connecting clients to other services

Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS), including Behavior Specialist (BSC), Mobile Therapist (MT) and Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS)

A vocational and psychiatric rehabilitation program - Learn skills that are useful in finding and maintaining employment within a supportive environment - Offers transitional, supported and independent employment

Provides a housing subsidy through the York Housing Authority for those homeless individuals with a severe and persistent mental illness who are willing to participate in programs through York/Adams HealthChoices Management.

Serves as a statewide network of people who use their own experiences with mental health and substance use to support others. Provides training and education about peer support and recovery, helps create peer support networking groups, and advocates for the needs of people who provide peer support.

Serves as the central point of contact for individuals who need help or legal advice resolving problems with Medicaid, such as coverage or services being stopped or reduced.

Offers a drop-in center for Lehigh County residents ages 18 and older with mental health challenges. Provides social and educational activities such as a self-esteem group, arts and crafts and outings as well.

Provides advocacy for people with disabilities and their families by monitoring and taking action to assure personal rights; acting as an impartial source of assistance for conflict resolution; evaluating the adequacy of policies, procedures and services; providing individual training and consultation; and providing referrals for legal information and services.

Aims to work with people living with disabilities to improve healthcare access. The goals of the project are to identify problems in healthcare networks and create recommendations to improve accessibility.

Develops and offers community-based alternatives for children and youth at highest risk of out-of home placement.
