Connects faculty, students, and other resources of York College to important community issues and initiatives. Provides services such as economic analysis and forecasts, social indicator measurement, surveys, focus groups, and non-profit technical assistance.

Serves as the Suicide Prevention Task Force to reduce suicide in Berks County by providing information and referral resources regarding suicide and intervention. Community leaders collaborate to save lives through advocacy, education, and the reduction of stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide.

Principal responsibilities are to work with elected and appointed officials and the general public to create and implement the county's comprehensive plan. LCPC reviews all proposals and amendments related to land use (zoning ordinance, zoning map, subdivisions, land developments, comprehensive plans) as required by the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code and also sewage facilities plans as required by Act 537.

Provides municipal and county planning services to the 72 municipalities within York County, including technical assistance and plan review for local governments. Services include ordinance development, floodplain identification, plan reviews, ordinance amendments, sewage modules, and planning consultation services. Maintains responsibility for the development and implementation of the York County Comprehensive Plan. Offers transportation planning and traffic engineering services, including support for federal and state transportation planning requirements.

Operates a consortium of human service organizations and community partners to improve access to services.

Administers the state contract for domestic violence services, promoting prevention, intervention and change. Develops training materials programs, trains the trainers, and partners with state officials to effectively coordinate Pennsylvania's response to domestic violence. Advocates for housing laws and public housing policies that protect victims and prevent landlords from discriminating.

The Safe 80 Taskforce is comprised of community and regional planners, developers, businesspersons, state and local police, emergency services personnel, elected state and local officials, representatives from PennDOT and other transportation agencies, the media and concerned citizens. Convener of the local Emergency Food and Shelter Board which is made up of a body of volunteers dedicated to reviewing applications and recommending funding allocations to eligible organizations, as specified under the National Board guidelines.

Supports the Northeast Community Springboard Coalition and Project Peace. NCSC is a group of concerned citizens who give their time to prevent and reduce the use of alcohol and other substances by youth in their community. Project Peace is an afterschool program in the Reading School District and the ILEAD Charter School for youth whose mission is to educate others about the dangers of drugs and violence and to increase peace in their community.

The Blue Ribbon Task Force works to enhance the military value of Tobyhanna Army Depot and the Pocono Mountains region. Works closely with the local, regional, state and national governments, regional chambers, development authorities, and other interested parties to ensure the long-term viability and sustainability of Tobyhanna Army Depot and economic development throughout the region.

Led by Penn Medicine, Lancaster General Health is a collaborative effort to reduce overdose deaths in Lancaster County. We work with community mpartners to identify and address gaps in servicers. We provide free information, naloxone and services for children impacted by substance abuse.

A partnership of local businesses, community social service agencies, and county government that is focused on building a comprehensive early childhood system to address the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of children. Develops strategies based on local needs to ensure children are ready to learn when they enter school. Raises awareness about early childhood development. Improving the delivery of critical services for very young children and their families and advocating for public policy that supports the community's youngest children.

Builds healthier communities by assessing, planning, and funding HIV care and prevention services in the counties of Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton and Schuylkill.

Task force looks to enhance safety on streets, in neighborhoods and in homes, by promoting positive behavior in Lycoming County. Coordinates programs regarding driver safety, pedestrian safety, babysitting safety, senior safety, and older adult fraud.

Tasked with the planning for, and development and delivery of, a continuum of care and supportive services for individuals living with HIV or AIDS in this six-county region. This continuum of care is then provided through direct service providers.
