Arc of Lehigh and Northampton Counties - Advocacy Department

Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of Pennsylvania - Special Needs Trust Services

Allows individuals with lifelong disabilities to set aside resources without impacting their eligibility for government benefits such as SSI and Medicaid. Funds held in trust are used to improve the beneficiary's quality of life. Common uses of trust funds include transportation costs, counseling/therapy, medical expenses, clothing, and computer and electronic equipment.

Arc of Northeastern Pennsylvania - Advocacy Services

Advocacy promotes and protects the civil rights of children and adults with IDD. The Arc's professional advocates provide assistance and information sharing to individuals and families on such matters as available supports, public education, employment and housing. Information is shared with local, state and federal legislators to ensure policies promote the best interest of individuals with IDD.
