Hall Mercer CMH/MRC - Homeless Outreach Services

Provides a continuum of care for chronically mentally ill and substance abusing homeless populations. Includes shelter outreach, day therapeutic programming for the dually diagnosed, outpatient, and supported independent living. Programming is accessible through the homeless shelter system or through the Alternative Services Unit of the Behavioral Health.

Norristown Hospitality Center - Drop in Center for Individuals Experiencing Homelessness

Offers a day shelter that provides breakfast; mail, fax, and phone services; lockers (30 days max); public restrooms; hot showers with towels and soap provided; crisis intervention and mental health counseling; social service applications and referrals; a monthly legal aid clinic; and an ID clinic to obtain state IDs, birth certificates, and social security cards. Serves as a cooling center or code blue shelter during extreme weather emergencies.

Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veteran Affairs - National Call Center for Homeless Veterans and Project CHALENG

National Call Center for homeless veterans or veterans at-risk of homelessness. Callers will be connected to trained hotline staff who will conduct a brief screening to assess needs; homeless veterans will be connected with the Homeless Point of Contact at the nearest VA facility; family members and non-VA providers calling on behalf of a homeless Veteran will be provided with information regarding the homeless programs and services available; contact information will be requested so staff may follow-up. FSB Initiative Inc. - FSB Initiative

Provides outreach to the veteran homeless community by helping homeless veterans with clothing, hygiene, food, and any other comforts they may need. Offers assistance to homeless veterans who have addictions and offer to get them into treatment if they desire. FSB can help get with shelter, employment, and other services. A homeless veteran qualifies for care through the VA even if it is not service connected. As long as they are under the care of a program, they will get the medical help they need.
