• Clarifying current health insurance coverage
• Determining if current health insurance coverage is adequate
• Assistance in finding supplemental insurance
• Assisting with applications and providing information on PACE Plus, a program designed to aid income eligible seniors with the cost of prescription drugs
• Assistance with Medicare prescription drug coverage

Youth Administrative Service Coordination services are available to parents/caregivers who may need support and assistance in managing their child’s mental health needs. Services include links to mental health resources, follow-up on the effectiveness of those resources, and long-term support for parents.

Program that provides a brief period of relief or rest for family members, guardians or other people who are regular caregivers for dependent adults or children by offering temporary or intermittent care in the home or in community settings/facilities.

Provides guidance and assistance to individuals and families living in these area shelters: Interfaith Family Shelter, Shalom House, and the YWCA:

• Obtaining an income and/or permanent or temporary housing
• Child care, connection to the mental health and/or drug and alcohol recovery support systems, family unification, etc.

Provides discrimination, domestic violence, and other legal services for students and workers who have experienced sexual harassment or assault in school or on the job.

Racial justice study and reading circles are offered periodically throughout the year. Great Decision lecture series is offered once a year.

Offers various sexual assault counseling and services.

Provides a long-term, residential recovery program for men that are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol and addressing psychological, educational, vocational, and spiritual issues.

Provides support and family and group counseling for depression, anxiety and stress. Services include anger management, mental health evaluations, medication monitoring, and substance use disorder counseling.

Offers a grief and loss lending library containing books, pamphlets, DVDs, and other resources related to grief, death, and dying.

Provides emphasis on achievement, belonging, and relationships to help campers grow as individuals while being a part of something bigger. Besides games, crafts, and theme activities, each week campers will be involved in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) Activities, a Summer Reading Program (where campers read over 4,000 books last year), and Swim Lessons and Fitness challenges.

Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS), more commonly known as Wrap Around Services, are for children who need individual therapeutic assistance. A skilled staff person works with the child for a specified number of hours per week in his/her home, school, and/or community. Behavioral Specialist Consultants, Mobile Therapists, and Therapeutic Staff Supports work together to provide the following services:

• Formulation and implementation of behavioral treatment plans
• Collaboration with and transfer of skills to parents, school staff, and other caregivers
• Specialized treatments targeting symptoms of various childhood mental health disorders such as Attention Deficit Hyper-Activity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Anxiety Disorders
• Specialized Autism treatment

Water and sewage services include permitting and inspection of individual water supplies and individual on-lot sewage systems, review of subdivision plans for sewage and water supply, and licensing for all well drilling contractors, pump installers and liquid waste haulers in the County.

Represents residents, business owners, and other stakeholders in the House of the Pennsylvania General Assembly. Provides assistance with accessing state benefits and services, information about elections, and advocates for constituents.
