The Legal Assistance Program provides free legal assistance to low income area residents of Southern Chester County. Legal advice is provided by a licensed, experienced attorney weekly at La Comunidad Hispana. Legal advice is provided in many areas of the law including but not limited to: Immigration and Naturalization Consumer Relations Collections Landlord/ Tenant disputes Domestic relations matters including child support, custody and divorce Personal Injury and Property Damage matters including auto accidents Drivers License Problems Labor and Employment issues including Workers Compensation

Provides home-based services for expectant families and children ages birth to three, who meet eligibility requirements. Services include weekly home visits in the areas of health, nutrition, education, social services, and child development, as well as socializations. The home visits are conducted by a Certified Family Development Specialists for 90 minutes once a week.

Provides a support group that serves the transgender community and their loved ones.

Offers a traditional residential summer camp supervised by staff with specific medical training to support youth living with diabetes.

Provides supports to families who have children under the age of 21 to access intensive behavioral health services in the home, community and school settings. Also assists with providing the family support to access funding for services.

Offers mobile dental unit working on a rotating schedule to bring services to the most underserved areas of western Pennsylvania. The purpose of the mobile unit is to overcome some of the travel and logistical barriers regularly experienced by many individuals with disabilities seeking to receive dental services.

Provides assistance to individuals and families in need of legal services in all areas of housing law, including discrimination and public housing appeals, landlord/tenant disputes, foreclosure and tax issues, and insurance claims.
