The Life Sharing program is an arrangement in which an individual with a disability joins a person or family in their private home as a fully participating member. These living arrangements allow the sharing of food, shelter, experiences, responsibility, and love. The individual shares and receives needed care and support from family and through community services.

Provides 45 minute classes that help strengthen balance, cognition, physical dexterity, and muscle tone. Students may be required to place harness pieces on a horse.

Camp Lily Lehigh Valley, is a week-long day camp that provides a well-rounded summer camp experience for children and young adults (ages 8-21) with disabilities. Their camps promise to engage, entertain and educate by offering inclusive activities that build skills, promote friendships and increase independence. Campers enjoy swimming, arts and crafts, games, sports, music, educational programs and a host of other activities. Special guests visit to teach workshops and entertain. Held at Camp Fowler in Orefield. Amenities include air conditioned indoor spaces, extensive outdoor recreation areas, and ADA accessible swimming pool. Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm; campers sign up for one or more weeks. Provides a safe place for the children to go before and after their school day. Whether doing their homework, playing in the gym/on the playground or working on crafts, the children learn how to work with each other and become a team.

Walk through neighborhoods to see problematic properties first-hand, take updated photos, and track progress in real-time. Coordinate code violation remediation and/or do home repair projects with City, URA, and other community partners.

Crisis Residential Program (CRP) at Natale provides a safe, structured setting where adult patients with urgent/emergency needs can receive crisis stabilization. The CRP at Natale provides interim rehabilitative care and support to individuals with mental illness as an alternative to more restrictive inpatient admissions.

Provides first point of contact to report damage to homes, businesses, or other property following a major disaster or large-scale emergency in the community.

Provides a wide range of services for youth, caregivers, schools, educators, and providers, including mentoring, school-based supports, social and leadership opportunities, and caregiver classes and supports.

Offers a variety of evidence-based health intervention programs to address a wide range of chronic health conditions such as arthritis, high blood pressure, cancer survivorship, diabetes, fall prevention, prediabetes, tobacco cessation, and weight management.

Helps connect individuals in need with resources that will address those needs. The program serves as a resource for community organizations working to revitalize neighborhoods and address resident needs, and produces an annual Community Development Resource Guide.

Provides mental health and employee assistance program (EAP) counseling services. Their staff includes trained, experienced, and licensed social workers and mental health counselors. Psychiatric evaluations and medication assessment and management are also available at their Wyomissing location. Individual, group, marital, family, and employee assistance counseling is offered to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Therapeutic approaches include cognitive-behavioral, holistic, systemic, solution-focused, and other evidence-based methods. Their professionals commonly address concerns such as depression, anxiety, anger management, grief and loss, trauma, mental illness, marital conflict, divorce, workplace stress, and health-related issues. They also offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other therapeutic groups at their Wyomissing location. United Way member agency

Offers mental health assessments, referrals, and linkages to formal and informal services.

Provides social and educational activities to give children the chance to encounter local history through reading, songs, crafts, and food.

Provides education and training to the community about domestic violence. Works to build relationships with community service providers through presentations, distribution of educational materials, and training to health care professionals, law enforcement, business associations, corporations, social service providers, schools, religious congregations, and more. Also provides volunteer opportunities to participate in program delivery.

Offers support, sharing, and friendship to parents who are grieving the death of a child. Features occasional speakers and a newsletter mailed to interested persons.
