Offers Head Start, a free federal program for preschool age children. Certified teachers assist children in developing school readiness and self-help skills needed to transition into kindergarten successfully. Multiple locations across Lawrence County.

Offers, Sober Living ¾ Houses Program for those seeking a safe and sober place to live and learn how to maintain sobriety while enjoying everyday life. This program requires participants to engage in 12 step recovery while actively progressing towards long-term goals. Houses are also set-up to receive clients that are involved in the Judicial System, like house arrest. Random urinalysis screens will be administered to all participants, no exceptions. Therapy / Counseling / Groups and IOP Services are available through Step by Step Support, which is also a DDAP approved organization.

Assists persons with long histories of serious mental illness achieve and maintain stability while minimizing their use of emergency behavioral health systems. Provides case management and treatment services. Treatment services include psychiatric services, individual and group outpatient therapy, self-help groups, medication management, and skill building.

Assists people with disabilities to apply for Home and Community Based (HCBS) programs. Provides supportive medical and non-medical services.

Offers a wide variety of resources including books, audiotapes, video cassettes, and learning games that provide information, techniques, and suggestions for activities which enable parents to be more effective in their parenting role.

The program holds a variety of Social & Recreational events for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Program offers a variety of activities that appeal to the many interests and abilities of our program participants. It also provides fun, friendship, social interaction, community inclusion, social skill building opportunities as well as respite to families and care-takers. The program builds and fosters relationships with institutions of higher learning, churches, and other community clubs.

The purpose of TOPS, Inc. is:

• To aid overweight persons in attaining and maintaining their physician-prescribed weight goals through group support and fellowship.
• To promote a sensible approach to weight control.
• To provide encouragement to those undertaking a dietary regimen only after they have consulted a personal physician.

Provides a turkey and a bag of meal prep items for distribution to the community while supplies last.

We feel that it is important for our blind and visually impaired clients to remain connected to the news and information they need- we refer our clients to Kings' College Radio, 88.5 FM to help them stay connected to the community by reading the newspaper from 10am-12pm daily. Northeast Sight Services provides referrals to this service.

Provides evaluations and treatment for persons who have committed sexual offenses (SOAB approved provider), evaluations (including clinical and risk) for both adult & juvenile populations, and treatment for sexting; evaluations and treatment for non-offending parents, persons involved in domestic violence (both perpetrators and victims),, and those with substance problems. Also provides outpatient mental health counseling, including sexual trauma, anger management, depression, anxiety, grief & loss.

Offers supportive services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Services include early intervention for children, an adult training facility and day care, vocational rehabilitation, and respite care.
