If a child is in immediate need of a safe place to stay, FCCY can provide short-term placement with a foster family for up to 30 days. During this time period, appropriate plans for future living arrangements will be made by all involved parties, including the child, the county caseworker, the children's biological/legal family, the FCCY case manager, and the foster family. In many situations, it is suggested that the child be moved from emergency placement to our Family-Based Services program.
