The Department of Public Health is providing COVID-19 vaccines to all Philadelphia residents. Provides information and resources for federal, state, and local benefits, services, and programs available to individuals who have served in the United States' Armed Forces. Offers assistance with the application process for available programs and benefits. The Division of Veteran Services advocates for new services and programs to improve the quality of life for veterans and their families. The office also seeks and shares military and veteran-related news and information about events happening throughout Erie County.

Offers activities geared to the social, intellectual, cultural, economic, emotional, and physical needs or interests of adults 60 years of age and older. Lunch is available Monday through Friday in the senior centers.

Advises and provides information about burial benefits for eligible deceased veterans and their families.

Provides a variety of family services that are designed to support the healthy development of families.

Provides meals to seniors, individuals recently discharged from a hospital, young adults, and their pets. Services include delivery to homes along with a visit from a friendly volunteer. Offer special-needs menus for those with particular dietary needs. Welcomes volunteers and donations.

Provides the opportunity for persons experiencing homelessness and others in need to take a warm shower once weekly at Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC) location in Bristol at 721 Veterans Highway, Bristol, PA 19007.

Consists of the County Council, which is the governing legislative body, and the County Executive, who oversees county operations, including administration/ human resources, economic development, corrections, court services, fiscal affairs, human services, public works, and the offices of the Coroner, Public Defender, Sheriff, and Solicitor.

Makes environmental education resource kits available. Topics include:

• Aquatics
• Forestry
• Wildlife
• Soils and Recycling/Composting

The Conservation District can provide environmental programs for schools and meetings and assist with outdoor field days and events.

Rehabilitates or builds homes with volunteer labor and donated materials, then sells the homes with no profit and no interest mortgages, to low-income families who have helped in the construction work.

Provides housing for up to 30 days. Focuses services on securing housing and employment. Shelter representatives assist in developing service plans, provide referrals, and monitor progress weekly.

Provides specialist that supports others through recovery.

Helps low-income homeowners with home repair needs.

Rose Tree's Group Therapy program (for men) offers counseling in the following categories: A) Anger Management B) Domestic Violence

START provides a truly integrated care experience, from primary health care screenings to screenings, assessments and diagnosis of mental health and substance use disorders. In collaboration with community partners, referrals for housing and other support services are also provided.

Provides basic needs resources for children, families, and older adults, including clothing, diapers for children and adults, menstruation/period supplies, and personal hygiene items.

Providing services to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities who are in need of assistance.

Addresses job and employability skills for the unemployed and underemployed.

Assists applicants in filling out their form and make copies of the required documentation needed to be mailed in.

Provides protection for the public health, safety, and environment of Lackawanna County. Helps the community prepare for, manage throughout, and recover from any type of natural disaster, security threat, and emergent situation. Ensures that all residents of Lackawanna County are well informed and prepared for any type of emergency.

Provides civil legal services to low-income individuals and families. Offers representation/legal advice in areas such as the following: Protection from abuse; Child custody/visitation; Landlord/tenant disputes, public housing; Criminal Record Expungement Assistance; Government benefits (TANF, LIHEAP, Food Stamps/SNAP, and Unemployment Compensation); Utility Shut Offs; Sheriff's sales/levy's; Consumer; Mortgage foreclosures; Low Income Taxpayers Clinic; Guardianships; Legal Services for Veterans - Homeless/Near Homeless; Elder Law.

Legal advocate available to accompany victims to the police station and court hearings, and provide support during difficult times. The medical advocate, available 24 hours a day, can accompany a victim to the Emergency Room, as well as to doctor's appointments or hospital visits.

Dental clinic offers routine dental care including:

• Routine cleaning
• Cavity fillings
• Extractions
• Root canal
• Flouride treatment
• Dental care education

Not accepting new patients. If an emergency refer caller to the emergency room and they will make a one time referral.

Offers a full range of therapeutic, home and community-based services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Services include behavioral supports, community integration activities, community residential services, community residential living, counseling, home and community habilitation, Life Sharing (Family Living), specialized services for autism, supported employment, and supported living services.

Provides specialized services for individuals who have sexual behavior problems and/or who have been charged with or convicted of sexual offenses.
