Potter's Houses for Men and Potter's House of Ruth for Women are residential programs for individuals caught in the destructive cycle of addiction.

Provides assistance and care management to Veterans who have a spinal cord or related injury. The team helps Veterans on an ongoing basis to address their needs while dealing with a spinal cord injury while providing education on VA benefits and services to those Veterans. Referrals are made to the Cleveland VA SCI Center for acute rehab needs, an annual evaluation, and specialty services as needed.

Provides personalized case management to help individuals and families in Schuylkill County access essential services and achieve stability. Services include:

• Utility Assistance: PPL and UGI utility support.
• Emergency Services: Food, clothing vouchers, bus tickets, prescription help, diapers, baby items, and hygiene products.
• ID and Documentation: Replacement or renewal of Pennsylvania photo IDs and replacement of birth certificates.
• Outreach & Referrals: Connections to community resources and services.
• Comprehensive Case Management: Personalized support to overcome barriers and achieve goals.

Provides referrals to food pantries or meal programs to those in need of food assistance.

Provides Youth Enrichment Programs through day camps, clubs, STEM and more for children in Forest County.

Provides independent and personal care residential options.

Connects consumers to health coverage. Assists with Medicaid, CHIP, and Pennie – Pennsylvania’s state-based health insurance exchange.

Provides immediate relief in the forms of food to individuals and families.

Provides substance abuse assessments and outpatient counseling for adults and adolescents. Provides a range of services such as an intensive adolescent mental health counseling program to include group, individual and family counseling with transportation provided.

Offers physical and digital books as well as provides e-readers. Also includes free WIFI, public access computers and printers. Serves as a warming/cooling center during periods of extreme cold/heat.

Offers a knitting and crocheting club once a week.

Offers medical grade pregnancy testing

Supplemental Food pantry

Provides age specific structured therapeutic activities in a small group setting. Assists in the development of behavioral, emotional, and social skills. Therapeutic Group Curriculum includes Mood, Behavior, & Emotion Identification, Peer relationships/interactions, Aggression Replacement Therapy, Therapeutic Journaling and Processing Social Stories, Coping skill development / strengthening families. Lunch provided daily. Transportation is available to those who qualify.

Municipal office

Offers a community facility in which older persons can make new friends, learn a skill, enhance significance, preserve dignity, or just kick back and enjoy life. Provides a hot nutritionally balanced lunch, a wide variety of recreational activities including bingo, pinochle and other card games, board games, creative writing, arts & crafts, song, dance, and live entertainment, and a variety of bus trips and outings. Assists in medical services with a registered nurse who comes every month to check weight and blood pressure and can answer or make referrals on medical questions. Additionally, a certified podiatrist comes to the center every 9 weeks for toenail cutting and minor foot problems.

Municipal office

Offers Daytime Centers with a meal served at noon. An APPRISE Counselor visits each Center to assist participants with the complexities of health insurance, insurance benefits, Medicare and Medicaid, claims filing, consumer protection, and other current issues. Transportation is available to and from each center through Indigo. Offers scheduled shopping trips and provides transportation to medical/therapy appointments.

Provides in-home, diversion, placement transition, and reunification services for children and their families in Lehigh and Northampton Counties.
