Providing the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. This program offers assistance to community members with filing their local, state, and federal tax returns, and property/rent rebate forms.

Offers additional grocery benefits program that provides households with a one-time payment of $120 for each eligible child to buy food while school is out. Benefits can be used at local participating retailers to purchase groceries.

Offers loans of books, magazines, books-on-tape, large print materials, and movies; photocopying, faxing, and computers with Internet access; a summer reading program for grades K through 6; and a story time program from September through May for children in preschool.

Provides emergency services and 911 communications. Dispatches emergency fire, police, and ambulance. Follows up on suspicious activities and immediate responses such as suspicious packages, persons engaged in suspicious activity near critical infrastructure, key assets, transportation, and more.

Emergency Direct Assistance for financially struggling individuals and families in crisis seeking assistance for such things as food, clothing, shelter, rent, household utility expenses and similar miscellaneous living needs. May also offer seasonal assistance, such as Back-to-School and Project Bundle-Up where funds are available.
