Services include: A) Education & Counseling B) Chlamydia & Gonorrhea Testing & Treatment (cervical smear for females, urine test for males) C) Syphilis Testing & Treatment (blood test) D) HIV Antibody Testing (blood test, includes pre- and post-test counseling) E) Diagnosis of other STDs and vaginal infections (including, but not limited to, Genital Warts, Herpes, Trich, Bacterial Vaginosis, and yeasts Infections) F) Partner Notification (at the patients request, a PA Department of Health nurse will confidentially notify any or all of the patients partners in the event of a reportable positive test result) Additional blood tests for Hepatitis C and Herpes treatments for external genital warts are offered through the Family Planning program at special reduced rates.

A parent of a new baby under 28 days of age, who feels that they cannot care for the baby, can give the baby to one of the nurses in the Emergency Department and simply leave without giving name or address. If they choose, they may give the nurse a medical history of the baby. The baby receives a check up to be sure it receives medical care for any health problems.Children and Youth Services and one of their employees will come to the Emergency Department and see that the baby is placed in a loving, caring home. Both the parent and baby receive an identification bracelet with a confidential medical record number from the Emergency Department. This allows the parent to contact Children and Youth Services if they want information on the baby after leaving it in the Emergency Department.

Services are available for children of all grades and skill levels, and cover areas such as social readiness, reading, writing, math, and study skills. Offers Orton-Gillingham tutoring for students with dyslexia. Teachers create individualized plans that outline the starting point, goals, and methods to assist each child. Also offers support in study skills, organization, test-taking, SAT preparation, and credit recovery (summer school).
