Program Highlights: Guidance from housing counselors to help clients understand the closing process Education on final financial commitments and required documentation Preparation for what to expect on closing day Eligibility: Must be a first-time homebuyer Referral from a qualified lender is required to participate in counseling sessions This program helps clients move forward with confidence by ensuring they understand each step leading up to homeownership.

Offers free tax help to people who generally make $60,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and limited English-speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.

Distributes Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) vouchers to WIC eligible households. Vouchers can be used to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables from farm markets across Pennsylvania.

Offers the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) K-Flex 30-year fixed rate loan, paired with other PHFA loan products for related expenses such as needed home improvements. Offers eligible homebuyers $25,000 grants to apply to the closing costs, and excess grant funds can be used to pay down the borrower’s student loans. Offers additional assistance funds in the form of a 10-year forgivable loan of up to 5% of the sales price are available to eligible borrowers. No mortgage insurance will be required. PHFA will be servicing the mortgage loans for program participants.
