Habilitation is designed to assist individuals with the development and maintenance of skills in the areas of self-care, daily-living activities, and social skills through the use of their community resources while living at home with family. Community resources can include service clubs, senior programs, and a myriad of other opportunities. Through the use of community providers, families and individuals can choose their own qualified and willing staff to provide assistance.

Provides non-medical home care. Services include personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, exercise and range-of-motion activities, repositioning, light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, shopping and errands, escorting to and from check-ups and appointments, companion care, and overnight home care.

Provides Vaccination Registration and Scheduling site for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Provides a Christian residential environment for adults needing moderate assistance with their daily living routines. Accommodates persons with various disabilities and financial limitations, and specializes in serving those with mental illness. Also have a 3 bedroom house with full kitchen, bath and basement on campus.

This program provides free groceries and essential food items to eligible individuals and families in need.

Provides trained caretakers for in-home respite care. Offers families with special needs children an opportunity to attend to their own needs.

Medical Assistance, also known as Medicaid, pays for health care services for eligible individuals.

Offers a continuing care retirement community striving to enhance the quality of life for those they serve in a Christ like manner. Pleasant View also has a pool, spa, steam room and fitness center.

Services include general and pediatric dentistry, crowns, dentures, comprehensive examinations, thorough cleaning (prophylaxis), x-rays, periodontal care, and more.

Offers a full range of employment solutions that include full-time, temporary, and part-time employment in a wide range of positions, including professional, commercial, and administrative.

Provides law enforcement services.

Provides transportation to dialysis centers, doctors' offices, personal care homes, and specialized medical clincs.

Maintains a Limited Mobility Equipment Library which gifts equipment to people with disabilities and accepts donations of used equipment. Stock only includes walkers, wheelchairs (non-electric), canes, crutches, toileting chairs, and tub chairs. Does not accept or gift any item that requires battery, hydraulics, or electricity. Does not accept or gift any item that is worn on the body. Beds or mattresses cannot be accepted.

Provides benefits used to buy food. This service is formerly known as Food Stamps.

Assists clients in multiple situations to achieve self-sufficiency through casework services, including development of a plan to establish self sufficiency and help with budgeting.

Afterschool program for children K – 12 at school centers throughout Carbon and Schuylkill Counties. Students are referred primarily for academic purposes. Educational programs, including homework assistance and STEAM-focused projects, are taught and a hot meal is served. Also offers summer programs.

UDS service dogs are provided with proper training from the time they are pups for over two years by a team of dedicated volunteers and professionals. Then, they’re partnered with people who have a mobility disability or autism to help them live fuller lives. They are here to provide help with getting a service dog in PA.

• Service Dogs for Mobility Disabilities and Autism: For individuals with autism or have a mobility disability, a UDS service dog can help improve their quality of life.

Offers facility dogs that are specially trained to help children who struggle in the classroom.

Provides families with resources for children and young adults with serious mental illness or emotional disorders. Also provides social and educational services.

Provides youth with transition from out-of-home placement to independent, self-sufficiency. Partnered services include individual counseling, life skills groups, job preparation, assistance in enrolling in higher education, and assistance in obtaining adequate housing.

Positive Action promotes social-emotional and character skills, resulting in healthy childhood development. It combines support for mental health, behavior, academics, and school climate into a single, research-backed program.

Various public offices including, York County Treasurer's Office, Recorder of Deeds, York County Commissioner's Office etc. are located within the York County Administration Center.
