The Caregiver Support Program (CSP) provides resources and assistance to caregivers who are either:
  • 55+ and caring for a related child or a related disabled adult
  • Any age and caring for a functionally dependent individual of any age with Alzheimer's Disease or a related disorder
The CSP provides eligible primary caregivers of functionally dependent individuals aged 60+ with reimbursement for out-of-pocket costs associated with caregiving, such as respite care, incontinence supplies, and home modifications. Grandparents and other older relatives aged 55+ who are the primary caregivers for related children may be eligible to be reimbursed for day care, camps, seasonal clothing, school supplies, tutoring, and registration fees for school activities or sports.
