C) Breastfeeding support to help new mothers have a successful breastfeeding experience. D) Farmer’s market vouchers to purchase fresh, local produce. E) Referrals to health care and social services to help you stay connected to prenatal and pediatric medical care, as well as community services and programs that help your family stay healthy and strong.

Playground program including activities such as sports, arts and crafts and weekly themes will be done. Specialty days and sporting events are planned with other playground programs. If there is inclement weather, the program will be confined to pavilion use only.

The Department of Elections in Lackawanna County is responsible for the administration of Elections in the County. Our responsibilities include registering voters, compiling and maintaining the registration of all voters. We prepare and publish notices of Elections, conduct Federal, State & County Elections. The office also accepts and verifies nomination petitions, prepare lists of offices for which candidates are to be nominated, administer the campaign expenditure act.

Provides hospice and palliative care wherever patients feel most comfortable, whether in their home or in a senior living community. The program offers expert assistance with symptom management and ensures continuity of care throughout the patient's journey. The hospice team includes the medical director, the patient's primary care physician, registered nurses, medical social workers, home health aides, and specially trained volunteers. Also offers spiritual and bereavement counselors, and a variety of holistic therapies including pet therapy, aromatherapy, and Reiki to enhance patients' comfort and overall well-being.
