IBHS provides comprehensive treatment to children to assist them in becoming more functional in the home, school, or community. Works with each child and their family to assist them in developing strategies to manage challenging behaviors more effectively.

Cub Scouting has program components for boys in the first through fifth grades (or ages 7, 8, 9, or 10). Members join a Cub Scout pack and are assigned to a den, usually a neighborhood group of six to eight boys. First-grade boys (Tiger Cubs) meet twice a month, while Wolf Cub Scouts (second graders), Bear Cub Scouts (third graders), and Webelos (fourth and fifth graders) meet weekly. Once a month, all of the dens and family members gather for a pack meeting under the direction of a Cubmaster and pack committee. The committee includes parents of boys in the pack and members of the chartered organization.

Offers Early Intervention services that include occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech and language therapy, special instruction, and nutritional therapy.

Provides permanent housing for single individuals in conjunction with light case management options available to residents upon request. The units are a single room with shared kitchen and bath facilities.

Aims to ease isolation angst and inspire healthy lifestyle choices through a group format with goal setting, introspective discussions and plenty of silliness such as trivia hours, book club chats, film discussions, exercise classes, a joke hour and, of course, virtual world field trips.

Provides interpretation/translation service.

Provides annual Thanksgiving Dinner on the afternoon of the holiday.

Provides preventive and acute care including immunizations for newborns, toddlers and adolescents through 18 years of age.

Assists low-income households access utility assistance through the application process for LIHEAP, Crisis, CAP programs, Dollar Energy, and weatherization services. Partners include Dollar Energy and Columbia Gas. Please Note: the agency does NOT provide direct payment for utility services, but assists with applications for utility programs.

Provides affordable senior living, Studio and one bedroom apartments. All utilities included. Pet friendly.

Municipal office

Assists with life-sustaining prescriptions for people who have no resources to cover such needs. This service cannot be used on a regular basis. Clients are referred to medical assistance for possible eligibility.

During extreme cold, provides space as a warming center during normal business hours.

Helps a homeless or near homeless family/individual to: stop eviction from your home/apartment or foreclosure of your house; find a long-term place to live; find a short-term place to stay. Provides a one-time payment up to $400 to prevent eviction or $100-$300 to obtain temporary or permanent shelter. There is no monthly rental assistance or subsidy available. Need must be the result of an emergency such as eviction, living in hazardous conditions, homeless or near homeless. If more funds are owed than CAO can offer are required to prevent or resolve the emergency, the applicant must have another way to pay the remainder due. The individual or family must have sufficient income to afford future rent. Items are verified with landlord/employer, etc.

Provides primary care services for children and adults of all ages. Also provides specialty services including chronic disease management for illnesses such as arthritic conditions, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes, heart disease, HIV/AIDS, and kidney disease; podiatry; nutrition; and women's health including obstetrics and gynecology.

Offers support to those in the community who are in need of food. Food assistance could also be provided on an emergency basis.

Community-based residential facility providing treatment services in a supervised drug and alcohol free environment for people who have problems related to substance abuse.

Supports for Living provides services to over six hundred individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and intends to maximize growth and independence for all of the individuals we support. The services provided by Supports for Living in a variety of residential settings and service programs promote individualized health care, social development, employment, recreation, community integration and other aspects of daily living. Elwyn offers residential services and supports for daily living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Chester, Delaware and Philadelphia counties. Residential options include campus living, community-based homes and apartments, supported living arrangements, in-home supports, life sharing and respite opportunities. In addition to these living options, Supports for Living offers a number of specialized residences, designed to provide the additional supports needed by residents with medical conditions or specific syndromes. Offers limited financial assistance for utility bills; also provides assistance with applications for Dollar Energy and CAP programs.

Offers affordable rental housing for low-income seniors ages 62 and older. Occupancy is limited to a maximum of two persons per bedroom.

Provides a before and after school program through the Ambler Area YMCA School Age Program. Kids Club: Before School Program (K through 5): A program designed to promote child development by providing activities in the form of arts and crafts, games, nature, etc. Held in Wissahickon schools: Lower Gwynedd, Stony Creek, Mattison Avenue, and Blue Bell (serving Shady Grove with bus transportation). Kids Club: After School Program (K through 5): Provides children with a well-rounded learning experience with a focus on fun, friends and creativity through supervised activities. Activities include arts and crafts, games, homework supervision, recreation and daily snack. Held in Wissahickon schools: Lower Gwynedd, Stony Creek, Mattison Avenue, Blue Bell and Shady Grove.
