Senior Center Services offers nutritional, recreational, educational, and social activities such as: Line dancing, billiards, art classes, card parties, gardening, and field trips. Senior Centers also provide a nutritious noon meal, a chance to visit with friends, and opportunities for health screenings and consumer workshops. Access to these sites is aided by transportation services purchased from the LIFT.

Designed to promote emotional and social competence and to prevent, reduce, and treat aggression and social emotional problems in children ages. By treating these behaviors, it reduces the chance of developing later delinquent behaviors. It consists of a 2 hour session once a week for 11 weeks. In these sessions, trained facilitators use videos to encourage group discussion, sharing of ideas and problem solving.

Attempts to achieve the most effective communication possible for the individual. Aspects of this field include clinical service delivery, education, and research. Provides perishable foods. Families receive 20-30 lbs of items such as fresh produce (vegetables and fruits), eggs, lean meat, whole grains, and dairy items. Distributes meats, grain, and dairy when available (Not part of the Kings Kettle Food Pantry).

Provides intensive case management, education, training, work activities, job placement and retention services, and supportive services to enable them to move rapidly from dependence to independence through employment.

Offers a national destination for heritage and outdoor travelers with multiple sites for a wide range of experiences that develop greater awareness and appreciation of our region's waterways.

Provides trained community advocates who work in teams of 2 to 7 monitors near several Philadelphia high- and middle schools to help reduce the rate of violence and conflict experienced by students traveling from school. Supervises areas near schools, supports student safety, de-escalates conflict, and assists school safety officers and school climate staff.

Information is provided to older adults and their families about internal and community resources with referrals made as appropriate. Follow-up activities ensure appropriateness of service.

Sells clothing, furniture, and household goods. Also accepts donations of gently used items.

Provides access to a variety of energy assistance programs so families can maintain their utility services, including Customer Assistance Program (CAP) and Customer Assistance and Referral Evaluation Service (CARES). CAP helps low-income customers of Duquesne Light to establish manageable payment plans that enable them to maintain electric service and move them toward self-sufficiency. CARES assists customers who have had their electric services terminated or are at risk of having their service terminated. Also screens for Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and Dollar Energy Fund.
