Home delivered meals.

Provides home-delivered meals five days a week, at lunchtime, to homebound residents of Chester County regardless of age or socioeconomic status.

Hot, nutritious meals are delivered to homebound persons unable to prepare meals themselves and have no one to assist them.

Waiver recipients are provided care in the community; appropriate for those who would otherwise be eligible for nursing home care. Applicants will be assessed to check if sufficient formal and informal services and supports can be developed and implemented so as to safely and adequately meet the person's needs.

Partners with the Allegheny Area on Aging and AgeWell Pittsburgh to deliver meals to qualifying homebound seniors who are unable to prepare their own meals. It is the only meals-on-wheels organization in western Pennsylvania that offers a kosher option.

Offers the following services: A congregate meal program; Home-delivered meals available for those eligible; Annual nutrition screening and education; Regularly scheduled social, recreational, physical fitness, and educational programming; Online computers are available at all of the activity centers; Transportation is provided by: Rabbittransit Senior Ride Program; Assistance in filling out forms and applications; Tax preparation services are available; and Groups for chorus, bible study, art classes, book club, etc.

Provides early intervention and prevention services to eligible homebound seniors (to be determined by a comprehensive assessment), are advocacy, home delivered meals, homemaker service (temporary) house cleaning, laundry assistance, minor home repairs, senior companions, adaptive equipment and transportation.

Provides homebound seniors and adults with disabilities freshly prepared, nutritious meals, helping clients live independently for as long as possible. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday by their volunteers, who also provide a friendly wellness check with each visit.
