Provides temporary financial aid to Veterans and their beneficiaries who reside in Pennsylvania for the necessities of life (food, shelter, fuel, clothing and medical expenses). If eligible, a Veteran or their beneficiary can qualify for an amount not to exceed $1,600 in a twelve month period.

Assists homeowners to avoid foreclosure through counseling, working with lenders, and applying to available programs; can also connect to additional social, health and financial resources as well as educational opportunities.

Provides assistance for the following mortgage and housing-related expenses to help prevent mortgage delinquencies, default, foreclosure, and displacement. The maximum amount of assistance for any homeowner under the PAHAF is $30,000 or up to 24 months of assistance.

Provides people undergoing cancer treatment with financial assistance to cover non-medical expenses like rent/mortgage payments, car expenses, food, and utility bills.

Provides a one (1) month mortgage or a one (1) month metered utility payment or vendor minimum delivery amount of a non-metered utility (wood, oil or propane if the primary heat source). This service may also allow for hotel/motel vouchers in order to provide shelter to homeless individuals. Sullivan County households can be assisted once a year through this program while funds are available and on a first come first serve basis.

Provides financial assistance for a one-time rent payment, security deposit, and/or mortgage payment to resolve arrearages or move into another unit due to homelessness. Funding is limited and available on a first come first serve basis.

Provides financial assistance to those with cancer and their families.

Provides financial and advocacy assistance to post 9/11 active duty US military service personnel, veterans and their families. Assists all branches of service and all ranks and components. Financial assistance is not given directly to service members or their families; instead, payments are made to mortgage lenders, utility companies, and other vendors.

Provides Coordinated Entry for domestic violence assessment, homelessness or housing crisis.

Provides assistance for those at risk of becoming homeless through rental, utility and mortgage assistance. Requires sustainable income to maintain rental/utilities/mortgage.
