Family centers provide families with a network of services accessible through local schools. Services available include healthcare services/clinics, family literacy programs, PAT (an in-home parenting program for 0-5 years old) summer recreational and enrichment programs, information and referral to other community resources. Family Centers are located at: Broughal Middle School 114 W Morton St, Bethlehem 18015 Donegan Elementary 1210 D 4th St, Bethlehem 18017 Marvine Elementary 1425 Livingston St, Bethlehem 18017 After school and summer programs available at some school. Parent/Community members should contact their school for information. Community School provide support and resources to families and community members at Broughal Middle School, Donegan Elementary, Fountain Hill Elementary, Lincoln Elementary and William Penn Elementary.

Provides parents shopping for school clothes.

Provides the following items (when available): - clothing for men, women, children and infants - shoes and coats - socks and new underwear - baby blankets and layettes - Bibles (English/Spanish)

Elementary students are introduced to The Nurse’s Pantry through school nurses, principals and guidance counselors. In addition to attire, The Nurse’s Pantry also provides hygiene items, appropriate footwear, outerwear, undergarments, and lice treatment kits. The United Way has created and facilitates The Nurse’s Pantry in 34 schools throughout the Wyoming Valley.

Offers a thrift store with clothing items like school uniforms, prom gowns, formal wear, and other clothing for all ages (infant to adult). Proceeds go toward vocational training opportunities and programs for students with disabilities.

Provides clothing and accessories in sizes for all ages, shoes and bedding.

Distributes new and gently used clothing and household goods. Provides diapers, formula, cleaning products, shelf-stable food, and toiletries/personal care items as available.

Provides hygiene items, lice kits, undergarments, district approved clothing items, outerwear, and footwear to school nurses. The Nurse's Pantry is located in elementary, middle, and high schools in every school district in Schuylkill County.

Provides school supplies for students in need. Also offers haircuts, dental and eye exams, and school clothes and shoes.

Family Centers, located at Jefferson and Central Elementary Schools, coordinate and facilitate a variety of support services for Allentown School District families. Family Centers seek to ensure the healthy growth and development of children by coordinating a wide variety of support services for families in the communities in which they live. Offering a clothing swap. Fill up a bag with your outgrown clothes, old toys, small shoes and kid's books and then trade them for clothes, shoes, toys and books they can use. All kids sizes are available, from infants to adult. Also offering free maternity clothes and breastfeeding supplies. Bring some bags and fill them for free! This is a free community event that is open to everyone!
