Helps individuals and families to find low cost internet access and digital devices. Provides digital literacy skills instruction and basic technical support concerning computers, tablets, smartphones, and connecting to WiFi (wireless internet) networks.

Provides emotional and financial support for those in crisis. Assessment conducted by crisis specialists to determine client needs. Provides eviction and utility termination assistance and referrals to other in-house services. Assistance is based on available funding.

Processes Dollar Energy applications for electric, gas, and water service. Also assists individuals and families to apply for Customer Assistance Programs (CAP) administered directly by utility companies (e.g., Columbia Gas).

Provides case management, a food pantry with curbside pickup, school supplies, clothing, and baby supplies. Assists with applications for utility programs, LIHEAP, York County Assistance Office, and Dollar Energy. Offers volunteer opportunities.

Rental assistance, case management and financial literacy are available for individuals/families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, such as facing eviction and electric shut-off notices.

Provides 22 agencies under one roof providing an array of services and supports, including mental health and drug and alcohol counseling, a food pantry, and other agencies that serve families, seniors, and veterans.

Provides planning guides, applications and information to receive financial benefits, and a link to receive temporary emergency financial assistance for Veterans residing in Pennsylvania.

Offers utility payment assistance. Helps those in the most need who may not be eligible elsewhere.

Provides callers with referrals for help with utility assistance.

Helps families of children with cancer cope with the extraordinary costs associated with these illnesses.

Provides rapid monetary assistance to transgender/gender-expansive individuals or the parents of transgender youth under the age of 18 residing with the parent. Includes one-time rent assistance, food assistance, mutual aid for utilities, car repair, trans-affirming medication, and bus passes. All payments are made directly to the vendor. Application does not guarantee approval.

Provides information or assistance for housing needs including transitional housing, shelters, landlords, security deposit assistance, rent and utility assistance, and help with eviction notices.

Provides direct assistance with utility bills for individuals and families. Also acts as a screening agency and offers assistance with the applications for Dollar Energy Fund, Peoples Gas CAP Program, and LIHEAP. Also offers modest grants to assist with rent, security deposits, and mortgages.

Provides Emergency Assistance for such things as food, clothing, shelter, rent, household utility expenses and similar miscellaneous living needs for financially struggling individuals and families in crisis. Offers referrals for assistance not offered at facility.

Assists individuals and families to apply for Dollar Energy Fund, LIHEAP, and LIHWAP grants for electric, gas, sewer, and water payment assistance.

Provides eligible veteran households with outreach, assessment, case management, advocacy and assistance in obtaining VA and other benefits, which may include housing counseling, legal support, credit repair, financial planning services, and time-limited, temporary financial assistance.

Provides grants to families living on low incomes to pay their heating bills. The grant is a one-time payment sent directly to the utility company/fuel provider. These grants range from $200 to $1,000 based on household size, income, and fuel type. Households without heat or in immediate danger of being without heat may also qualify for crisis grants in addition to the LIHEAP Cash Grants.

Provides a campaign that sells hats and apparel to raise money to help individuals in need of heating oil for their homes. Can also donate and purchase merchandise.

Assists with costs of utilities (gas, propane, oil, water, and sewer). Helps with car/vehicle repairs and transportation assistance such as car insurance payment, gasoline, car registration, and driver's license fees. Sends referrals to VBA Vision Plan for eyeglass help.

Administers Operation Share program for UGI gas customers only. Eligibility includes income guidelines and not yet disconnected. Year round program.

Provides emergency aid, in the form of either a direct grant (a cash gift, not to be repaid) or an interest-free loan, and by giving college scholarships to children of soldiers.

Provides clothing, personal needs, and financial assistance, as well as, household items. Offers help for individuals and families who are at risk of a utility shutoff. Utility assistance may include help with natural gas, electricity, water, propane, and fuel oil bills, and is offered as funding is available.

Provides direct oil assistance for low-income Philadelphia residents who are unable to afford the cost of an oil delivery. The maximum assistance available for this program is 200 gallons of oil; families are eligible for assistance once every 12 months.

Provides utility customers with access to assistance to help with bill payment for gas and electric services thru PPL, UGI Fuel Funds and Energy Conservation, PPL programs, such as security deposit waivers.

Helps low-income families pay their heating bills. LIHEAP is a grant that offers assistance in the form of a cash grant, sent directly to the utility company, or a crisis grant for households in immediate danger of being without heat.
