Offers families and others an opportunity to come together when a situation occurs that threatens family unity. An FGDM conference is facilitated to establish a plan to help solve family problems. A typical conference lasts between 2-3 hours.

Family Group Conferencing
Provides Family Group Decision Making (FGDM) which is a strengths-based voluntary process. FGDM offers families the opportunity to join together with other people who are important in their lives, to develop a plan to resolve identified concerns. Families who enter into FGDM are guided by a Coordinator.
Practice for families to gather and create their own plan in regards to the reunification of their family after a child/children were removed from the home. Families meet with relatives, friends, case management and providers to discuss strengths and concerns. The family is given private time to create a plan that will help protect and prevent future harm to their children.

Provides support in a variety of parenting aspects including establishing a daily routine, hygeine practices, appropriate discipline, healthy relationships, mental healthcare, and more. Also provides connections to stable housing, employment, education on budgeting, or other building blocks that make for a safe, stable home. Consists of three meetings (1-3 hours each) within a two-month timeframe.
