Wraparound Facilitation/Community Support
The BHRS model focuses on skill development to support emotional and behavioral issues for children birth to 21 years of age through a child-centered, strengths based approach. Services are provided in the home, school, and/ or community settings as deemed necessary by the child’s treatment team. There are three levels of services offered within BHRS; Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC), Mobile Therapist (MT), and Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS).

Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS), also called referred to often as "wraparound," is a process designed to improve the lives of children and adolescents with complex psychological or behavioral needs. It is not a specific program or protocol. Therapy is available seven days a week and becomes part of the daily routine. The process starts with the building of a team comprised of persons from multiple systems collaborating together to develop and carry out an individualized treatment plan. The team includes highly-trained mental health professionals, support staff, family members and when possible, the child, among other persons involved with the consumer's care. This may include educators, daycare centers or other caretakers, case managers, and others. Services are available in the home, community, and/or the educational setting.
