Outpatient mental health services

Provides therapeutic services for families with children displaying severe behavioral disorders or serious emotional disturbance issues. Services are designed to support families by providing specific therapeutic services to the child in the home, school or community setting. Services include Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), Mobile Therapy (MT), Behavior Consultant (BC).

Provides low cost health care coverage for inpatient surgery, emergency care, pre/post natal care, anesthesia, diagnostic services, mammograms, PAP test, pediatric preventive services, and much more.

Serves as a cooling center during extreme heat emergencies (code reds).

Also offers comprehensive in-home services for Lawrence County residents 60+ to help them remain safely in their own home. Income and age requirements may apply. Municipal office

Offers a food bank that provides canned goods, milk, meat, cheese, eggs, and other staples as available. Not able to accommodate special diets, and rarely has baby food or baby formula in stock. Also offers clothing. Assistance limited to once every 4 weeks.

Support focuses on helping individuals stay in their homes or adjust after moving. May be able to assist with housing-related needs, but not with finding housing.

Program works to ease the stresses of caregiving by focusing on the well-being of the caregiver. Provides the primary caregiver with reimbursement for out-of-pocket costs associated with caregiving, such as respite, caregiving-related services and supplies. The program also offers education, training, counseling, and more.

Uses personal strengths and the ability to make choices in their lives to achieve self-reliance and community integration, develop skills and have access to appropriate resources. Program is designed to assist individuals with mental illness to choose, get, keep personal goals in a living, learning, working and/or social environment of their choice.

Provides financial assistance for registration fees to help children and youth from income-restricted families participate in youth sports

Offers support and assistance to expectant women and parents of children up to the age of two. Services available include pregnancy testing, supportive counseling, and educational materials/classes on pregnancy and parenting. Participants receive a monthly "Baby Box" that including diapers, formula, and clothing.
