Offers program that builds support systems for students with asthma at school and at home. Facilitated by a certified asthma educator, SAI provides both in-person and real-time virtual asthma awareness, education, and training throughout southwestern Pennsylvania. Tailored sessions are available for K-12 students, parents/guardians, school nurses, school staff (Act 48 accredited), community health workers, and individuals/groups of students in medical fields.

Hotline designed to connect individuals who are in need of help with Hurricane Debby clean up with volunteers who may be able to assist them. Individuals will be placed on a list available to volunteers from local relief organizations, community groups and faith communities who may be able to assist with muck out operations, tree removal and debris cleanup. Nurse practitioner and Community Health Nurses provide services on STD clinic day. The STD Clinic is available on Tuesdays from 9:00am to 12:30pm, and the TB Clinic operates on the 1st Thursday of every month from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Immunizations are free by appointment only on Wednesdays, from 8:30am to 10:45am and 1:30pm to 2:30pm, and are available to individuals with no insurance or underinsurance. Additional services include family and professional education, general health information and referrals, case management and counseling for children with elevated blood lead levels, health promotion and teaching for groups, PKU, perinatal and hepatitis B case management, investigation of communicable diseases, and follow-up for animal bites and rabies.

Provides waiver services (CPS, IHCS, Companion) and fee based group activities for intellectually Disabled and/or Autistic adults (18+) in their communities.

A parent of a new baby under 28 days of age, who feels that they cannot care for the baby, can give the baby to one of the nurses in the Emergency Department and simply leave without giving name or address. If they choose, they may give the nurse a medical history of the baby. The baby receives a check up to be sure it receives medical care for any health problems.

Assists County agencies and eligible non-profits research, screen, develop, edit, apply for and manage a successful grant. Responsible for the application process for some of the County-issued requests for proposals.

Offers seminars and support groups led by people who understand loss and grief. Provides access to GriefShare resources to help individuals recover from loss and look forward to rebuilding life.

Provides care and education to develop each person to their fullest potential at locations in Franklin County. Offers various classroom schedules to meet the needs of each family. Part-day and full-day schedules are available. Offers a Home Visiting program with weekly visits to pregnant mothers and/or children up to age three to support them in parenting and other goals.

Provides LGBTQ-friendly permanent housing, coordinated entry, and support services for young adults at risk of homelessness as a foundation to achieve their long-term goals for housing, education, and employment.

Provides individuals with mental health evaluations to assess issues and treatments.

Offers grants and low-interest loans for repairs to owner occupied homes within the city limits. Household income limits and other eligibility requirements apply. Helps qualified households make code, safety and other needed repairs to their homes. The maximum available to an eligible household is $30,000. Eligible work includes roofing, electrical, plumbing, lead paint hazard reduction, insulation, window replacement, and many other items.

Provides a drive-thru food pantry.

Offers clients individualized attention and training to help each person achieve personally and professionally. The program involves working one-on-one and in small groups to help clients see how to transfer their past skills, prepare them for the job market, and assist them in making professional decisions.

WIC is a free program for those who qualify that offers: A) eWIC benefits to purchase nutritious foods at the grocery store. WIC foods support proper growth and development for pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5. B) Nutrition education to help new parents build a strong nutritional foundation for their families, and help children develop healthy eating habits that can last a lifetime. C) Breastfeeding support to help new mothers have a successful breastfeeding experience. D) Farmer’s market vouchers to purchase fresh, local produce. E) Referrals to health care and social services to help you stay connected to prenatal and pediatric medical care, as well as community services and programs that help your family stay healthy and strong.

Offers an Elementary School for grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. Preschool and PreK are available for 3 and 4 year olds (full day Prek Available).

Provides a a short-term day program for six to 18 year old youth in grades K-12 who are experiencing significant distress and need more intensive treatment and support. This program may be able to help prevent a hospital stay or be used as a step between a hospital stay and return to the community.

Participants break into age-appropriate groups led by trained mentors and focus on self-awareness, character building, goal setting, time management, communication, social engagement, networking, conflict resolution, developmental skills, peer mentoring, and leadership skills.
