Such children are often sent to group homes or institutions, which do not provide a family living experience. As a vital alternative, a treatment family is specially selected and trained to deal with the child's special needs and to help each child grow in a successful family atmosphere. Through family activities and community events, children participating in Family-Based Services will learn the responsibilities and behaviors that come with being part of a caring family.

Offers referrals for behavioral health, mental health, and drug and alcohol use disorder services.

Behavioral health services available for youth, up to age 21 years, includes BSC (Behavioral Specialist Consultant), MT (Mobile Therapy), and TSS (Therapeutic Staff Support). Contracts with county mental health systems, Managed Care Organizations (MCOâs), and private insurers to provide both fee for service and case rate Medicaid services. Open to referrals from families, schools and agencies.

Offers community outreach that provides a meal, food pantry, and clothing.

Offers comprehensive treatment which includes approved medication (e.g., Buprenorphine, Naltrexone, etc.), in conjunction with individual and group therapy to help individuals to abstain from use of alcohol and/or opioids.

Provides eligible individuals with vouchers to purchase Pennsylvania-grown produce at participating farmers’ markets and farm stands. Vouchers are distributed in the summer and may be used through November.

Provides Certified Peer Specialists who are in recovery from their own mental health, substance abuse and/or criminal justice struggles to assist other adults seeking wellness and/or recovery themselves.

Provides emergency crisis services. Assists consumers who are experiencing a mental health emergency and lack the resources to assist themselves. Immediate intervention for suicidal and depressed individuals being top priority.

Offers individualized outpatient treatment plans targeting the whole individual to support long-term sobriety, treating disorders such as alcohol, opioid, prescription drug, and illicit drug addiction. Services include Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Outpatient Support Groups.
