Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight - PA MEDI- is a free health insurance counseling program designed to help all Pennsylvanians with Medicare. PA MEDI counselors are specially trained staff and volunteers who can answer your questions and provide you with objective, easy to understand information about Medicare.

Administers the Housing Rehabilitation Program for low to moderate income homeowners to make essential repairs and necessary improvements in their homes.

Provides counseling to treat the presence of other mental health concerns in addition to a primary substance abuse disorder.

Official GED testing center. Low income adults may qualify for free literacy and/or GED classes.

Offers free wifi with 4 computers available on site. Wifi is available for those who wish to use their personal computers in or outside of Library building.

Provides foreclosure prevention services for homeowners in danger of losing their homes. Also provides credit counseling and pre-purchase services to those interested in purchasing a home.

Provides custom measured manual and power wheelchairs with specialty controls or equipment to improve quality of life. They evaluate current limitations, then create customized rehab equipment specific to individuals needs to provide greater independence. Provide rentals and trial chairs so that the residents receive the correct equipment.

Provides a home away from home for family members of patients who travel a distance to the Sayre campus. Whether you have daily treatments that make it difficult to travel to and from home for or if you have a family member in the hospital for an extended period of time, the House of Hope can provide a much needed place to stay. House of Hope volunteers answer phones and take messages, help with fundraising, minor housekeeping and kitchen duties, greet and register new guests, maintain records, and assist guests as needed. The House is available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Offers comprehensive routine and restorative dental care for patients with intellectual disabilities, autism, and behavioral health needs. Along with scheduled appointments, also accommodates emergency appointments and referrals for patients. Provides both non-sedation and intravenous (IV) sedation dental treatments, based upon each patient’s needs.

Offers English as a Second Language (ESL) classes.

Provides services that include licensed drug and alcohol level of care assessments and case management services.

Provides supportive employment services to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Offers individualized support, job skills training, workplace integration, job placement assistance, and ongoing support.

Offers a home visiting program for first-time mothers. New mothers enroll early in their pregnancies and are seen on a regular basis by a nurse home educator. The visits continue through pregnancy until the child is two.

Provides alternative family living arrangements in agency-supervised private family homes for children and youth who have been neglected, abused, or abandoned.

Provides a lunch served on weekdays. Lunch reservations must be made in advance. In addition, the Center is part of Pennsylvania the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program, which provides low-income older adults with four checks to buy fresh farm food grown in Pennsylvania. Each eligible senior may receive four $5.00 checks for a total benefit of $20.00 one time during the program year. A married couple is eligible to receive eight $5.00 checks for a total of $40.00 one time during the program year. Checks are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis in late May and early June. Produce distribution Wednesdays, usually at 11:45 am. Free Bread/Baked goods available M-F.

PASS AT ON (formerly the Reused and Exchange Equipment Partnership-REEP) isa free online classifieds for assistive technology devices. Items listed can be for sale or for free. Free to buy, sell, or browse. PASS AT ON also operates at UCP of NEPA as a free in-house reuse program for gently used Assistive Technology (AT). This program takes AT donations and provides them to individuals of all ages and varying (even age-related) disabilities to obtain for no cost through UCP's ATRC.

Through the Sexual Integrity Program, clients learn the way to improve their “love life” by relationship education and self-esteem building. The youth program, Destinations, is the abstinence education division of Crossroads Pregnancy Center, providing education in public schools and youth groups in the community.

Provides intensive therapeutic services designed to help parents care for their children and adolescents with mental health needs at home to prevent hospitalization or other out-of-home placements.

Senior Center provides older adults educational, wellness classes, socialization, wellness checks, computers, recreation and community service in addition to a meal.
