Pregnancy Resource Center

• Pregnancy Services: Offers free and confidential pregnancy testing. Pregnancy options education is available and referrals are provided for healthcare, social services, and other community resources.
• Obstetrical Ultrasounds: Offers free and confidential early pregnancy ultrasound to those who qualify.
• Educational Classes: Provides free classes or individualized appointments about: Prenatal care and development, Newborn care, Parenting, Life Skills, and Healthy Relationships.
• Baby Boutique: Clients participating in our Earn While You Learn Program earn 'Baby Bucks' when they attend an educational class or appointment. Clients can use their 'Baby Bucks’ to shop at any of our Baby Boutiques in the Lehigh Valley.
• STI Education, Testing and Treatment: Offers women free STI education as well testing and treatment for chlamydia and gonorrhea

Provides victims with an alternate mailing address to keep their actual home address out of public records where their perpetrator may find their location. The confidential address may be used as a legal address for court and government records, including driver’s licenses, non-photo ID cards, vehicle registration, school records, voter registration, marriage licenses, and court petitions. The ACP forwards all first-class, registered and certified mail to the participant, free of charge.

Offers programming to broaden the interest in life-sustaining careers and exploration of colleges, trade schools, and career opportunities for young women in grades 5 through 12.

Assists clients with legal options and safety planning. Assistance in filing Protection From Abuse petitions, accompanies the victims to PFA hearings and related criminal hearings. Provides emotional support to the victims and helps assist clients identify her own needs and preferred outcomes.

Offers PA Property Tax/Rent Rebate information and application process assistance.

Provides shelf stable, cold, and frozen food items to individuals in need during the facility's regularly scheduled open hours.

Provides public computers, free Wi-Fi, public restrooms, and collections of resources for the public. Offers physical books, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, and patrons can also access many materials online. Provides printing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing services for a small fee.

Provides interest-free loan to modify homes. Eligible modification items may include, but are not limited to, bathroom modifications, installation of grab bars and handrails, kitchen modifications, lifting devices, main level bathroom or bedroom addition, ramp addition or repair, sidewalk addition or repair, and widening doorways or hallways.

$20 Vouchers to buy state-grown fruits and vegetables at local farmers' markets. Vouchers are offered on a one-time only per summer basis. First Come, First Serve Program runs from June 1st to September 30th. Contact your local senior center for distribution days.

Offers ESL classes to adults weekly, classes meet two times per week for a total of three hours. Students are able to both attend class and use the computers with Rosetta Stone software for individual instruction.
