Helps consumers voice concerns and exercise their rights regarding long-term care services. An ombudsman is trained and certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging in the investigation and resolution of complaints made by, or on behalf of, consumers of long-term care services.

Offers a six week program that covers business plan development, marketing, management, and financing for businesses. Successful graduates will have completed a business plan, developed and implemented legal business operations, and are invited to participate in the WORC micro-loan program.

This 200-acre wildlife sanctuary and wilderness trust sits on the slopes of Bougher Hill above the Delaware River in Northampton County near Riegelsville. Except for the area around the preserve office and four small meadows at the top of the hill, the preserve is entirely forested displaying a variety of forest types from oak-dominated forest on the north-facing slope to a mixed oak-sweet, birch-tulip tree forest on the south-facing slope. The sanctuary offers a nature center, walking trails, a wildlife viewing blind, information kiosk and interpretive signs along trails.

Utilizes specific techniques to engage and motivate families and especially deals with the intense negative affect of anger and hopelessness that prevents change. Additional phases and techniques improve family communication and conflict resolution, problem solving skills and provides them with better access to other system resources.
